So.. my step dad thought it would be okay if he beat up my three year old little brother, just because he holds a grudge against the mom. THE KID HAS DIABETES AND AUTISM! HES GONNA LIVE WITH IT FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE AND THAT MAN IS TOO STUPID TO REALIZE THE EMOTIONAL TRAUMA THAT HE'LL ALWAYS HAVE WITH HIM. He's screwing up that kids mind. And now the kid's had surgery on both legs for an infection may have prevented him from eveey being able to walk again. If that's not enough he goes and blames the mom for his actions, when obviously, shes not that type of person. I live with my grandparents as their adopted child, and since mom lives in another state, there is nothing I can do but wish he gets better.. thanks for listening.. to

Seeing as how you most likely don't have as much life experience as he does and won't be able to handle this by confronting him yourself, there IS something you can do.
Like Dragpent said, call child services. Explain everything. If you're able to go on the internet and post on this site, you're definitely able to pick up a phone and call them. If your mom hasn't done anything to help your brother, only YOU can do it. Think about it, your brother is relying on YOU. Save him.

You all say call Child Services, yes they may look into it but... there's still the issue of the word of an adult and the word of someone underage. My family tried to do the same thing when my cousins' biological father who divorced their mother was beating them and letting his new wife and family do that to them as well. None of the three would say anything about it not even to me. So yes Child Services can look into it and ask the kid (Even if he is Autistic.) but unless the one being abused admits to it and others who also know what's happening to come forward and say something including the doctor or a nurse. It all just tends to go away.

That's horrible, I can't even imagine what that must be like but, if child protective services isn't doing anything maybe you should call the police next time it happens. Than they can't deny whats really happening because the evidence will all be right there. If theres anything I can do just let me know. We're all here for you.
