I have a strange feeling that I flirt without noticing it, both online and in real life. People ask me out way too often. I get guy's phone numbers constantly. For someone who doesn't want to deal with people, it's really fucking annoying.

Am I just exerting real and/or virtual pheromones that draw these creeps to me, or am I just inadvertently flirting?

Is there a way to avoid unintentional flirting other than ignoring everyone completely?

This is a strange, slightly conceited thread. I'm not bragging here, though; trust me when I say that I don't want to deal with people.

Might just be you regularly talk in a very affectionate way compared to normal people.

Jk, uhmm I doubt you can flirt without noticing. It seems highly unlikely to unconsciously flirting with people, maybe the guys you talk to have no diginity and will try and go out with anyone n everyone. Not a stab at you sama, some guys are just stupid is all. Everyone wants to be loved at some point, you just happen to be the current target is all.

Its probably just in your personality. You acting like a flirt without realizing it isnt always a bad thing... Yeah, the attention you get is probably annoying, but it means you can act natural around a guy you like, instead of the awkward flirting most girls do.

I know a girl with the same problem. Just don't touch guys while your talking to them (like on the shoulder and stuff), and talk to more girls instead of boys. And when you do talk to boys don't laugh a lot.

This seems to happen to me too....The worst part is that it's always guys who are way older than me (high school and college),either I flirt unconsciously, or every guy I see is terribly desperate.

Rather than flirting, I think people are just attracted to you. You don't HAVE to flirt for people to like you. It just happens naturally. Either that, or you're cute and people like your face.

The thing is, I don't know what you do. Therefore, I wouldn't know whether or not you're flirting.

I think some girls just tend to do that. I mean, I know I've looked back at some of my conversations and gone, "shit, it totally seemed like I was flirting with him". Or I'll treat my guy friends like I treat my girl friends and it seems like flirting.

You probably just a really pretty person and guys go after you , my best friend Kitty has the same peoblem and she doesn't even flirt unless she likes the guy.

If you are a fairly physical person then that can be easily interpreted as flirting. Basically avoid making physical contact or getting in too close proximity like >>9 says and that will help. Making less eye contact will help, but will really bother some people. There are also a bunch of subtle physical tells like touching your hair (wikipedia tells me they are called 'proteans') but they are subtle and probably not what the problem is.

Verbally, basically avoid being suggestive. Which may or may not be a no brainer for you :). Guys can misinterpret pretty much any level of intimacy at all XD.

Mostly though, your are probably just pretty, attractive and personable and will have suffer people falling over each other to get your number. You could always get a sex change and then people asking you out would be so rare that you would feel the need to celebrate the situation.

People keep saying that I must be a pretty person, but it happens online as much as it happens offline, mostly on sites that my picture isn't even on :\ Nonetheless, I've gotten some good advice. Thank you :O

If you are having as much trouble online and offline then it's almost certainly down to being friendly enough that people feel comfertable and intimate enough when talking to you that they aren't afraid to be rejected. Which is pretty good thing even though it's annoying you :)

Ok, response, my idea is you attract guys because of the way you are and your personality. There's not really much you can do to change it so you'll just have to put up with it and turn them down when they ask. You should be flattered that so many guys wanna get to know you better :)
