Help with my Sister (10)

1 Name: Ari Erioto : 2012-03-20 18:11 ID:ST4AQYMq [Del]

It seems my sister is really getting bullied around at school, but not just like the verbal bullying she is actually getting hit too.

The thing that really gets me is that my sister feels like she needs to lie to her teachers and protect the bullies. She thinks that if she does that she won't get bullied anymore.

I really love my sister and want to help her but all the approaches I come from she tends to push me away thinking I am the bad guy here.

Any good suggestions to help my sister out?

Talk to the teachers, school board, go to a pta about it, talk to your parents, beat up the kids who are bullying her, etc

Go directly to the proper authorities, as Sleep said. Talk to the school staff about the situation. If you can't get them to do anything, recommend that she be pulled from that district and signed up for another.

If a person you love can't save themselves, then you do the saving. Whether or not they think it will work, you're (probably) the older child with more experience. You (probably) know better than she does, whether or not she thinks so.

In which case:

Why does everyone keep saying go to the teachers!? DUDE THAT YOUR SISTER! Bullying is one thing but when she gets hit is another. Go with her to school and talk to those bullies, try to make a verbal resolution with them, tell them what's up or else there going to have a bad day. They still do that shit then fuck them up; you already asked them to stop so if they don't listen to that then they will listen to violence. Family is one of the most important things in this world; so you have to do what you can to protect them.

>>5 maybe because its a lot easier if i can be handled by people who are always around rather than someone who can only be around every now and again? Besides, if he doesnt involve teachers, faulty of any kind, then he has no assurance that when things get stopped they will stay that way.

Do both, talk to the teachers and find the bullies. Most of all if you're going to confront the bullies for your sister. Get her to talk about it first and if she's being beaten by them. That needs to stop cause it is really wrong. Plus, has your sister tried to talk to them and get them to stop first?

>>5 I agree. However I am somewhat of a violent person, so my resolution: Beat them all until they start bleeding profusely, then kick them around when they're on the ground. Make them regret ever messing with anyone in your family, and prmose them that if they do it again, they will be dead.

The absolute best thing you can do is teach her how to stand up for herself. Teach her how people like this aren't worth shit, and to face them. If they get violent, walk away, if that doesn't work, tell her to have a code phrase or something so she can call or text you, then you go and tell them to fuck off.
