I've been living the same life, day after day. It seems nothing changes, and it never will. I wake up,go to school, and then come home. When I don't have school, I don't have anything to do. My family never goes anywhere hardly, and when we do, we don't go anywhere worthwhile. Yes, I could do stuff filled with excitment, but my family won't let me.
Isn't there more to life than just the same routine, day after day? Couldn't life be so much more exciting?
*sigh* (sorry for the ranting, fellow Dollars)
What I'm trying to say is... Wouldn't you love it if life was more like a video game, or a fantasy?
For all those people out there who wish for more to life than the same drab style, post what you wish could change for the better. Maybe someday it may~

Well, my friend has been thinking the same thing (without the video game part though).
She sees no meaning in life, we'll all die anyways.
No offense, but life's a bitch. You can't change life, it's no video game.
Even if it was, you'll just get bored of the video game world in no time. Like Izaya in Durarara said in one scene: You've got to keep evolving in order to get freed from boredom.
Meaning, find some friends, get a boyfriends and make happy memories. That's all there is in our life's.

Try new things mostly, never let one thing lead you down a single path. You have to make your path and build more onto it. Though, always find a way back and not to a dead end. Humans have free will and with that free will one can do anything with it. Step outside the comfort zone and see what happens.

>>1 Find something fun. I used to think the same thing, and, admittedly, I still sort of do. I don't think we were put on the earth with any particular goal or intention; we're just here to live and evolve. So, to spice things up, I have hobbies and related goals of my own.

My goal is to do every single job possible in the future. I don't want any particular amount of money or type of house; I just want to be everywhere at every time. I don't want to settle down for a long time, but when I do settle down, I want to be alone in a cozy place away from the world.

For now, I have to do whatever I can do to help reach those goals. Whenever an opportunity comes to experience something others don't get a chance to experience, I don't let the offer pass. I learn every skill I can. I do well in school so I have a better chance at getting into some of the higher level jobs.

I want to know as much as I can, do as much as I can, and be in general as much as I can. That's my goal, and I think it's goals like these that people should have in order to break the schedule. In fact, don't be afraid to break the rules every now and again.

I would definitly love it if life was more like a video game or movie, sadly that would probably mean fighting and its bad and blah blah blah, so the chances of that happening are slim :(

If you want to do something more exciting you could try scouts, it's actually really fun and the camps are really good to get to know people, Ive made so many new friends since joining :)

Just to add in something of trying new things, see if there is an Anime Club in your community or school?

To quote Palahniuk, "The reason people leave in a small town is so they can moon over going back, and the reason they stay put is so they can moon over leaving."

I've had the same thoughts you did at one point, where I wanted my life to be a piece of fiction. To have extraordinary things day in and day out.

But something you have to realize is that everything becomes ordinary after enough time. You can't just expect change, you have to strive for it.

Do something you've never done before. Talk to someone new. Try picking up a hobby. Find a job. The first step to controlling your world is controlling your culture. Paint the art, make the music, write the stories, build the platforms.

Step out of your comfort zone. That's the first step.

>>9 Definitely stepping out of your comfort zone.

You want the shirt you saw at the mall the other day? You want that video game you've been craving for the past month? Find a job and save money for it. You don't like the job (and it's obviously not necessary) just drop it. A coworker of mine made a good point today. "We don't know when we're going to die. And like what everyone says, live life to the fullest. I live mine by photo bombing people's pictures. One day, they would look at those pictures and say/think 'Who the hell was that bitch?'"

>>11 LOL. Photobombing is THE Best.
Anyway my perspective of the world is always getting deeper and deeper, like a bottomless pit in my backyard that I toss vintage furbys into(god those things are creepy) think just as much as you need to because I've already learned life is boring and predictable when you think too much XD

>>13 This hasn't been commented on for almost twenty days, and your necro-ing comment didn't give any advice. Care to share with me the point of said comment?

i think everyone does the same thing everyday, sadly i dont think we can really change it to anything magical, as much as i wish this world would be it isn't. and sadly we have to live with it. But if this world could change i would love it for people to be less into looks and more into personality, and for more humans to be kind to others, as for the fantasy stuff anything would be cool really :D but when you actually think about it living the life as someone from a video game or fantasy would be rather difficult. You'd have to kill other things human or not and live with it, that is the downside of fantasy. But yea it would be awesome if fantasy and video games were real i'd be a huge fangirl XD expessily for anime XD

Certain facts of life are unavoidable. For instance, you will spend a large amount of your time driving. Sitting in the same car seat, driving the same roads, over and over again. Even though it isn't something you can get past, that doesn't mean you can't make it interesting.

For example, I used to drive a beat-up van to work everyday. I got tired of that, so I bought a motorcycle, fixed it up, and now I look forward to driving.

Just use your imagination. There's no use in lamenting over something you can't change, when there are perfectly good things you can.
