Because my advice is that you care too much about what he thinks. I don't give a stratospheric fuck about what anyone thinks about this site, and it's more than likely a lot of people think it's stupid for several reasons that can't necessarily be helped.

Exactly what Sleepology said. Think of this situation as a sandwich. Someone put in some peppers to spice the sandwich up, you don't pour liquid nitrogen on it. Liquid nitrogen pepper sandwiches are disgusting. So basically, if this guy is making fun of you, constantly, right? Then you should find another friend, all you have to do is look, it may seem hard if you're shy though.
