a friend of mine was in the hospital about a year ago and that was the last i heard of him. whenever i asked my friends and his family, they said they couldnt tell me. i dont understand why they all knew and kept it from me. turns out he was adopted by someone else because he was put up for adoption. i never even got to say goodbye and for almost a year i thought he was dead. people lied to me and i am really upset about it.

I don't know what i can do to talk to him. his last name would have changed because he was adopted by someone else. i hate it and i dont know what to do or how to cope with it

I had literally fell in love with this guy. no physical attraction, i just loved him. he was one of my best friends (it may have been more of falling in love with our friendship but still....) and its seriously so hard to deal with

Probably not, theres a reason why you arent supposed to be in contact with the past.

If know one knows just make sure to keep your memories about him as strong as possible never let them go

Think about it this way: If he felt the same, then one day he'll contact you instead. Your name won't change for a while, so he'll be able to find you. Move on until then, but keep him in your memories, and treasure them always, even if he never turns up.

If you're determined enough, try Facebook. OR, you could just go on Twitter. Find a nice celebrity who likes to help people for the sake of appearances, and ask them to ask about it. See if anyone knows a [insertfirstnamehere] who was recently adopted, is [insertagehere], was born on [insertbirthdayhere]. Maybe see if they can do a special hashtag (#[insertrelatedwordhere]) that you can search to see all the responses.

I'm only suggesting this because you said "love". If you seriously feel "love" towards someone, doing this much should be nothing compared to the amazing determination caused by "love".

Anyway. That's what I would do. Bluntly, though, if he thought of you as a friend at all, he would have contacted you. His family and friends would have told you. I have a strange feeling either he and his family really disliked you or you're making this story up :V That's not normal behavior.
