Today, two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, have been the target of a terrorist attack. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has confirmed that as at 7pm 40 people have lost their lives in the shootings at the Masjid Al Noor on Deans Ave and the Linwood Masjid on Linwood Ave on Friday.
This attack is a massacre on an unprecedented scale, previously unheard of in my peaceful country. The shooter was Brenton Tarrant, an Australian extremist. New Zealand is on high alert as there may still be perpetrators on the loose. I ask that the thoughts and prayers of the Dollars be directed at the victims of this horrifying attack on a peaceful religious group.

The death toll has risen to a confirmed 49,with over 20 critically injured. The hospital is in lock down with all non-emergency appointments canceled. No regional flights are coming in or out of Christchurch Airport.

"New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern has said she will announce detailed gun law reforms within days, after an attack on two mosques left 50 people dead."

Sharing and/or possessing the NZ shooting video is punishable in NZ by imprisonment upto 14 years or upto $200,000 fine for an organization. Various links to the attack videos and manifesto are being taken down. Police are investigating perceived dangerous sites(4chan, 8chan, voat, etc.). The authorities are asking for these sites to preserve posts, technical, and IP data of anything related to the terrorist.

"People" are calling for stronger internet regulation and censorship. There is a strong stance against "alt-right memes" and violent video games. NZ government is to change legislation on gun laws and doing a buyback operation of guns. There is rising radicalization as media, government, and people are pushing their ideals against others.

The terrorist wrote on his manifesto of his desire to escalate social and political tensions and cause conflict. The terrorist believes he is an eco-fascist that has elements of both right and left wing ideology. He idolizes the PRC(Chinese society), Candace Owens(black pro-Trump commentator), and Oswald Mosley(british fascist party leader). He perceives that the Islam is culturally and politically invading the Europe. He uses the many massacre, rape, sex grooming gang victims, and the romanticized version of the Crusades to further justify his cause.

The victims' bodies were being investigated by police. There are to be returned to their families so that they may hold their funeral rites.

May all keep their heads cool, maintain their poise, and refuse to be engulfed by hate in these times of trouble.
