Logan Paul Suicide Forest dead body finding (21)

1 Name: Yellow : 2018-01-02 14:57 ID:aiYsAjoB [Del]

Hi this is one of my first post and this is really sad topic and is completely gross. So Logan Paul a youtube with maybe 10mil subs went to Aokigahara known as the sea of trees or "the suicide forest" you can enter that forest and take paths around the forest and its a very beautiful place other you tubers have went there and stayed on path. But oh no its Logan Paul and yeah of course he goes off the path suddenly he finds a dead body hanging from the tree now he blurted out the face but its NOT okay to use the end of someones existence for views. He even went up close to the body and pointed out "wow his hands are blue". The original video got taken down lucky enough I saw it before that.Heres. few out of the hundreds of videos responding to Logan Paul

I was actually gonna make a thread this morning suggesting everybody here report the video but he had already deleted it.
I heard from an internet rando that he heard the death was recent, but that info is about as unreliable as it sound.
Hardly matters anyway. Logan's behaviour was disgraceful either way, and his "apology" was completely self-centered.

The problem is though, that no matter how cruel and disrespectful his actions were; people are still seeing right through them. Plus with that apology video, instead of reminding Logan his actions were unjustified, they're 'forgiving' and 'supporting'.

I have a few things to say on this topic. But I'm going to start with saying this. Before this morning, I had never heard of Logan Paul. I didn't know he existed, and I'd never heard his name. I only know this because of Twitter.
First of all, what has been done can never be undone. People saw the video, and he took said video down. I fail to see why this is as big a problem as you make it out to be.
Secondly, yeah it was disgraceful. Yeah it was rude, what he did. He never should of done it. But he did do it, and now he knows what kind of sh*t can happen because of it.
Third, I never saw the original video. I saw a copy of the video that someone else uploaded, that didn't show the dead body. Frankly, I half hated him at first, then I just didn't care.
Lastly, the only reason people are so quick to call him an asshole, an idiot, disrespectful, and other names like that, is because he put the video on YouTube. You think it was his fault he found a dead body? You think he would be mentally okay after walking through a forest and finding a hanging body? You think he wouldn't be shaken?
And for any of you who say "But he was laughing, smiling and telling jokes after he found it" then you haven't seen the entire video, or refused to acknowledge it. He copes with shocking events by laughing and smiling, and telling jokes. He says so in his video. You can see on his face that he is in shock.

I think your missing the point here. If he'd uploaded a video talking about finding a body in the woods no one would care. It's that he decided to upload the footage, and more so that instead of ending the vlog as soon as they found the body, he decided to dig himself a deeper grave by continually pointing his camera at the body (and as someone who's actually seen the uncut video, he gets real close to it), and behaving like a jackass. It's not what he did, it's how he dealt with it.

He was not to blame for finding a dead body, but he should not have filmed or did not show in the vlog and called the authorities or could even ignore.

He actually only posted the video to gain views but he already apologized right? I also think he was not well psychologically after finding a dead person.

Anyway what he did in my opinion was
horrible

>>8 Aye he had a choice to do the right thing which he didn't, to be honest he should have reported his findings to the local authorities and handed over the video.

Isn´t it the legendary Japanese Suicide forest? So why was he so suprised because of seeing dead body. Obviously, there would be something like that.

>>10 The fact is that he was not streaming *live*, so he had the choice to upload or not to upload the video footage, in which he choose poorly to upload the video footage,

Thus got the reaction of everyone saying he is an idiot for being disrespectful of the dead person body and being disrespectful towards the Japanese by not handing over the video footage to the local Japanese authorities.

Yeah he knew full well where he was going to do the filming.

Sorry for asking, I don´t know this situation very well. Do we know already who was the dead person? Just it all seems to be fake for me.

>>12 The forest area where he went is well known where people commit Suicide.

something can seem unreal at the time as your brain can't deal with what is in front of you,
This somewhat happened to my self when walking the dog round where I live, I was just walking up a hill with my dog heading home and I saw spillage of red paint coming from a post van down the hill on the pavement/sidewalk just as I was going to walk around it on to the grass a police officer stopped me and told me to go on the other side of the road so I did, I didn't think much of it as just some stillage of red paint, then I heard my parents talking about some postman having a brain haemorrhage that had died on the road I was walking on, I didn't put two and two together for a while and I then came to a realization that was not a spillage of red paint but blood.

Likely because it's out the way and they don't want to bother other people where they live, you have to remember the Japanese society and culture is not as open to talk about problems like we do in the west like "mental health problems, financial problems, home life problems, bullying" they find it very difficult to ask for help because they don't want other people looking down on them, it's so hard wired into their culture.

No it's probably not nice to see, but the fact is the area is known for people commit Suicide so if you did go there don't get too shocked if there is a body hanging from a tree, I am guessing that there likely is some kind of Japanese authorities/organization that will respectfully remove the bodies from the area.

He goes into a suicide forest expecting what? Ghost Pokemon? Don't answer that. But still he obviously knew he was going to find something like that.

ok so this is how i see it if he can edit the video and still put it up he isn't sorry he's just going to say he is so he isn't shamed by his fans as much i feel as he did it to just get more money which i wouldn't see from being to far off since he did it he's had a bump in views which means more money for him so i think just ignoring it is the best thing to do at this point or petition him off youtube (which wouldn't help how youtube is now youtube is still fucked)

I agree with lolihunter, the best thing to do would be to just avoid his videos and ignore him. I'd never heard of him before this and I certainly have no intention of watching any of videos now.

I think YouTube should revoke any monetary gain from future videos. I feel like that's the only way to bring some form of justice to this issue. If he is a true photographer/artist/content creator, the money shouldn't matter because he'll still be able to make the videos he wants.

>>20 They decreased or removed earnings from videos until further notice, and also halted his youtube red show. The punishment should be harsher, but I'm sad to say it's not.
