As of recent, Maria has strengthened to a category 3 hurricane. It is projected to directly hit Puerto Rico, and from there, passing off the coast of the Dominican Republic and going through the bahamas. People are speculating whether or not it will take Irma's path, but overall it's still too early to know for certain.

I believe it got into a category 5 state if I heard correctly, and as I'm writing this it should be entering Puerto Rico around this time or so.
