>>2 was simply a consideration based on some things I heard and read.
Still it is interesting that the first missile was fired into the ocean close to Japan shortly after the meeting of Abe and Trump and it is considerable that Russia doesn't want to strengthen the sanctions on NK.
>>17 Even if NK would bomb the US, NK wouldn't be able to reign the US - not without help. And once again the question is popping up whether NK is acting on its own or possibly connected with one of the greater nations also interested in conquering the US.
And here gets Japan into the game. Japan would be a perfect military base if you want to attack the US, not only for NK, but also for China. Moreover the American base in Okinawa is like a small threat for China because the US army sits directly in front of China's door.
Still, according to Trump, the US will defend Japan if NK drops a missile in Japan by attacking NK back, so it would be pretty senseless to attack Japan.
It's all kind of a childish game of power. I pretty much share the opinion of
>>20 that Kim is trying to be recognised as a nuclear power.
The life of a dictator is pretty hard and if he fails he loses everything lol
In other words: He has to preserve his power and to pretend being the mightiest man in the world to prevent his people from rebelling or questioning his regime.
>>15 We already are within World War III, yet nobody said it out loud lol
Just kidding.
