Recently, approximately​ 8,000 US dollars in Magic the Gathering cards stolen. If your from the Mansfield Ohio area keep a lookout for the culprits shown in the video. The guy has multiple security footage angles at the end of the video. Please contact your police department or the shop if you know or find anything.

How big of a stack is $8,000 in magic: the gathering cards gonna be?

And what kind of idiot would cook up a get rich quick scheme involving stealing collectible cards.
This entire thing seems like something that would end up like those hilarious wanted pics (like the dude who got taken in half way through having his Afro shaved, or that chick who got caught for stabbing her boyfriend but thought "hey, screw it, who says mug shots and selfies are different, DUCK FACE!")

The culprits took huge boxes of bulk cards and loaded them into their getaway car. They also broke into cases and stole single cards. Their online sales site is down because they need to account for inventory. It sounds stupid but it was surprisingly effective.

So the thieves only stole Magic: The Gathering cards, but not Pokemon cards or Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. Seems weird that they would only still cards from one of the three biggest trading card games.

Any idea where the easiest place to get cash out of them would be?
It would give us places to watch for suspiciously large amounts of magic: the gathering cards

Likely any other card shops in the area. Online is an option to sell as always. There another local shop called Heroes Haven but that's all I know. I live in Wisconsin so I'm getting my info from internet digging.
