Gray Wolves hunting (3)

Two bills called H.R.424 and S.164 are about allowing hunters to kill Gray wolves. If any of you guys know ecosystems then hopefully you remember that Gray wolves are a key stone species which means they are vital to the balance in an ecosystem. Wolves in yellowstone national park were remover for over 70 years which cause problems for the beaver population, because it battled with the elk population. The beavers decreased, and the elks got worse. When the wolves were brought back the equilibrium was saved and everyone was happy. I want your opinions. Note: many of the helpful websites were taken down for no reason so only could find two on the wolves. and I have on for the bill.

From what I can see, the bills are being placed because Gray Wolves have grown in numbers and can no longer be considered endangered animals. I think these bills are fairly pointless and are unwanted. Within the Born Free USA Link, I don't think anyone mentioned within the article enjoyed or liked the idea of H.R.424 or S.164.

A few months prior, in September of 2014, U.S. District Judge "Amy Berman Jackson returned Endangered Species Act protections to wolves in Wyoming. In her ruling, she agreed with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that wolves there had recovered. But she said the state hadn’t provided sufficient guarantees that a minimum population would be maintained."

If these bills are passed, I think time we go back for the wolves and they would soon be relisted onto the endangered species list. With States that have such "Shoot-On-Sight", such as Wyoming, there is no safe place for the wolves to continue to grow if they are constantly being hunted down. The same could be said for just about any species or animal.

My end line, is that I don't think either of these bills will be useful or wanted and may once again lead to the endangerment and hunting of Gray Wolves.
