Who wants to kill Europe? (9)

Since the Brexit, euroscepticism is growing over Europe. Leaders of extremist political parties (like Marine Le Pen in France, Frauke Petry in Germany, Geert Wilders in the Netherlands…) want to weigh on national elections, while the Hungarian Viktor Orban led a very anti-EU policy.

I come from Europe and am personally pro-European. The rising of euroscepticism is scaring me as I think it can lead European countries to xenophobia, over-protectionism and/or autocracy.
What do you think about EU and the growing of radical parties, fellow Dollars (be you European or not)?

Fellow European, pro-EU as well. It's pretty insane how the EU's becoming more fractured due to Britain leaving, but I think any countries with a more peaceful and thoughtful mindset will see the sense in sticking with the EU. Xenophobia is definitely a problem, even in my local community. Hopefully people will start speaking out about it, maybe even the Dollars will. Who knows?

People being Xenophobic wont change just because they bend to a higher power. I am anti-EU, as an american I am anti-federal government. I think it's terrible to have large bodies of government. If I'm correct, the EU has representatives from each country who is part of it, and they all make laws and legislation ( so they're basically the federal government), but what does someone from germany know about the plights of someone from italy? More power leads to more corruption, and the government can take more of our money, with less accountability.

Naga Sake, you're an idiot who clearly doesn't understand the EU. The EU is a mostly positive influence and the UK will certainly not benefit from leaving.

The EU is not the US.
I hope that the EU will stay the same...

>>8 To clarify the UK is still in the process of leaving the EU, it take another year or two before the UK has fully left the EU.

The UK is fairly likely to make better/stronger trade deals with countries that are part of the "commonwealth" which would be a good move.
