The problem with internet is that it's easier to get away with something like this. Another problem is that it's constantly evolving, the better the protection gets the better the hackers get, which makes it a constant race without a winner.

PS. If you didn't want it to be debated over, you shouldn't have brought up such a touchy subject, as the Russian alleged hacking currently is.

I did not want it debated over, I simply wanted to spread awareness. It's not my fault everyone is so butt hurt.

There is no register of usernames here, but most who do post on this site will use a ( Type code ) so you know it's not someone else trying to pretend to be a regular poster, also the end ID helps a little.

Unless someone is willing to make a list of all active "regular poster" member Names and their Type codes, there is no calling out who owns which user name, but some might think that the person using said name of "regular poster" might be trying to troll them and give them a bad image.

Just take everything with a little grain of salt, try and work it out, many of the "regular poster" are known by how they post and what they post, it wouldn't take long to work out who is who.

It's sad to see how far something as small as a little slip can create such an argument. It is clear to see that this news is NOT about Russia. Relay_Table apologized for the fact multiple times (>>3 >>7 >>9 >>). Everyone makes mistakes and we should just forgive him/her and move on. Instead of focusing on one person mistake, we should focus on what they are trying to spread awareness for.

Technically no, unregistered or not, we all have a name that we all identity. Which is why most people don't often change names after we have decided one. I think that the US should start to do something about National security. Things like these are most likely going to happen more and more often as 2017 gets started. If we don't do something soon, the US may be in trouble for various reasons. I think employees of banks and important things like that should be checked more often so that no unwanted people/groups get the backdoor they need to steal.

No problem! If we can do something like that, the chances of people hacking into systems and stealing the money that way would significantly decrease. Seeing how this is basically the generation of technology, we do more things online. If we could get something even close to national security protecting our banks, we wouldn't lose as much money to hacking as we do now.

But, on the bad side, I can't imagine the American government doing anything like that as it would cost more money than they are willing to spend. We are extremely cheap, so I guess the government will spend the money on repairs when the time comes rather than prevention.

So, unless Trump decides to think about the banks, the next few years of our lives are going to be filled with bank hacking and things like that. I can only imagine people are going to be acting more and more violence as Trump slowly makes his way into office. But I don't want to get to political
