As many of you have heard, Texas uni students are now allowed to bring guns. Discreetly. And of course some people don't want that, and so after a slew of petitions, public speeches and posters, there is now a campaign titled "Cocks, not Glocks" in which students come to class with dildos hanging from their backpack.
That's weird to me. but I guess as with most cases, it depends on the person carrying the gun. Some people I was in the military with, shouldn't have had a gun, but did anyway. It's a strange thing that is hard to sort out.
It's hard to say who should have guns. Who can be trusted to use it correctly.and smartly. Then again, there was a student with a gun in San Jose, CA who shot at other students and someone subdued him... So.. who knows. (sorry for being so scattered. I have ADD xD )
I think it honestly demonstrates a juxtaposition between making those around you feel uncomfortable. The firearms make some people nervous and uncomfortable, and so would the dildos. This is sort of clever.
The reason as to why these students came out wielding dildos was to bring attention to a matter.
At UT, there are rules prohibiting sex toys on campus grounds. One of the students posted on facebook, as a funny little joke, saying something along the lines of "Cocks out instead of glocks." The message soon spread around campus and long and behold, this happened. Their message was that "If open carrying is fine, this why is having dildos so bad?"
