Nice terror attack on Batille Day (17)

1 Name: NZPIEFACE !NZPIEH7uI6 : 2016-07-15 15:45 ID:jzyrR21Y [Del]

In Nice (a city in France), a man used a truck to run over people celebrating Bastille Day. 84 dead, man was shot dead. Your thoughts on the matter?

Attacks like these are being reported every other day and it just stops being this horrible thing and devolves into something that's hard to really care for (I don't mean to sound like an ass I just can't care anymore).

Links or it's fantasy.
As >>2 said, these attacks are starting to feel normal btw.

im pretty used to all this madness here where I live. People die everyday. They have to die someday someway.

Anndd... it seems almost impossible to control anyone like that (the truck driver) unless u can control people's minds....

LINK FOR LAZY FUCKS

>>2 >>3 >>4 Well, someone literally just drove a truck through a crowed of people, if that makes a difference.

>>3 Turn on the news it's on most news channels, it's not like you could miss it, just like that coup that just happened last night in Turkey.

>>5 aye

also when something big happens like that you really don't need a news link, if it's headline news on like all news channels.

I know, but it's still required. No matter what. Just to give the reader a idea of where you got your information from. Just because someone is talking about headline news, ithe doesn't mean that they are giving an accurate account.

>>7 It was headline news on reddit. REDDIT. The goddamned information well of random shit in the world.

I understand it was headline news, but it is still the rule of the board. This is becoming more about the rules than the actual topic at hand. Let's not derail this any further.

Perhaps the main danger comes precisely from the fact that people are getting used to it.
At first, people were shocked. They were united to condemn such acts of terrorism.
Now emotion is fading away and i've got the feeling that people are more divided than ever.

Oh, I spelt Bastille wrong.

>>12 It's technically not terrorism, just a very depressed truck driver killing people.

>>11 I thought the same thing.

so.... Instead of becoming more civilized, mankind's going more and more towards brutality.... Why is that?

>>12 Reminds me of psycho pass. In the opposite way. If people become too safe its bad... If people are not safe.. well obviously bad. sigh, This world is just too fucked up!

You bloody fool. Those people were never united nor spiteful. They 'condemn' acts of terrorism just to keep up appearances. In truth: As long as it doesn't concern them, no one cares.
People are as divided as they've always been. Only difference is it's more obvious since a thing called internet came to existence.

>>14
Not everyone wants to be civilised.

>>13 You’re right, it is not technically terrorism. But the truck driver still got inspired by Daech. The Islamic State gave him either a reason or an opportunity for his insane behavior.

>>14 Here is the dilemma. How to makea country safer without restricting individual freedom?
Psycho Pass world with its obsession for controlling everything is very close to a dictatorial state.

>>15 There are always exceptions, but I think that back then most people were feeling the same shock and disbelief. In reaction, there had been a great wave of cohesion and solidarity. I don’t mean that all difference of opinions suddenly disappeared; their disagreements were just set aside as everyone wanted to rise up against such barbarity.

My thoughts are that the world is slowly coming to an end. Deaths here and there. Racism, terrorism, a dictatorship!
Plus, I'm watching he news and there is footage of a woman running in a bikini in the highway? Not trying to offend anyone but in this generation, education is DECREASING and many people are taking DUMB choices.

But, I feel that the Nice Incident was something planned by man who wanted to release his anger and make France traumatized and blame the terrorists.
