Toddler At Disney Dead Due To Alligators (15)

1 Name: Ryker : 2016-06-15 18:10 ID:4VUYUPcy [Del]

Hey guys. I'm not sure if this would be classified as big news or not, but a small child was snatched from a Disney World shore by an Alligator. I just personally find it quite eye opening. Anyone can die at any time. I've attached a link to an article.

Things like this have always happened in Disney since they have opened sadly. Even the happiness place in the world can't escape the horrible reality of death. From children falling off a roller coaster due to technical problems to something like this. Personality, I feel like this type of this could have been easily avoid if their were signs saying that they had wild alligators in the area, maybe the parent would have been kept a better watch of his/her child and more people would be aware of the dangers in the area. But that's just want I think.

Yeah, we really need to be more vigilant when going out with small kids, who knows this kind of shit might just happen

>>8 The child can't even be blamed for the lack of awareness and knowledge of their guardian. But I think general knowledge and more awareness (by both the guardian and the companies) could prevent more cases similar to this one.

There are signs that say "no swimming" and "stay away from alligators" all over

>>10 Then they just says that we need to me more careful of were we leave our children. A child isn't really going to read the signs and understand not to go in a certain area but if the parent, was being responsible and watching the child and reading the signs. As I said before, such a thing could have been prevented. But I've never been to Disney World so I wouldn't know but it does seem fairly logical to have signs but it also seems logical to have some sort of barrier because the animals and the people, something as small as a rope hanging from tree to tree. But that's my own opinion.

Wow

They think they have found the alligator they believe that dragged the toddler under. The sad part is the animal is probably going to be put under thanks to the acts of humans. Which has always seemed unfair to me but none the less is probably the next course of action authorizes are going to take.

But why the HELL were there alligators in fucking Disney World anyways. I mean, they could've at least put up a sign that says'Alligators Danger'. Or maybe even, oh I don't know, block off the shore so no one would be at risk of being dragged in to the water? Sure there might've been a 'Don't go into the water' sign but that didn't mention anything about alligators leading you to certain death. No one listens to signs that say 'don't touch the grass' or 'don't go in the water'. I know that they should've listened to the sign but they had no idea what was in that water or what would happen.

>>14 I 100% agree with you on the matter. Blocking off the area and having better and clear signs could have easily prevent such a case like thing one. There will always be those people who "press the red button" despite the warning. But if someone had said, "Press the red button and you're family will die." The person who most likely not press the button. Informing people of the consequence generally stops people from whatever they planned on doing.
