So yeah, this just happenned today, 8pm local time. Probably won't hit international news just yet, but branches of this story has already been covered for the last few days, at least on CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/04/americas/former-brazil-president-lula-question/

This case goes on and on, but now we have a judge leaking ilegally gathered phone calls and the media is twisting the facts, as they do. I'm not on anyone's side here, but things are getting really intense here in Brazil, specially because our population are fighting between themselves and political intolerancy is on the rise.

So yeah, just a insight or a new pov of something that you guys from around the world might hear/read about tomorrow.

More coverage about the whole story (or what made the judge leak the calls):

I'm very glad someone's already post something about it in here. As a brazilian, I some times wish the rest of the world could give us more visibility.
However, by seeing the image and the main thread, it looks like the investigations are somehow illegal. And neither them nor the recording of the phonecall are. To begin with, the recording wasn't even the president Dilma's, was Lula's. And yes, the law have each and every right to do this kind of thing when investigating someone... It is the best way of doing it? Maybe not, but they are still correct in view of our jurisdical sistem.
I'm not a big Globo fan, I do think they are too sensacionalist; but the people want more information... We want to be aware of all, because it's our country alter all.
Again, I hope more than a couple brazilians see this, cause after all, this is an internacional website

Matsu, the investigation itself weren't indeed illegal, however, this call in specific was recorded after the investigation had ceased, at least after Lula's wire was suspended.

Furthermore, we have a dilemma here: presidential phonecalls were not supposed to be wired like that, since she (Dilma) was not under investigation and, more importantly, those calls being protected by another constitutional law. Got my point?

Besides that, I completely agree with you, this subject should get more coverage worldwide, this is becoming our own Watergate scenario.
