Ahh, these types of things happen, rarely but they happen. But the cause might not all be global warming. In North America the same is happening in the south due to El Nino. If the same is happening there then its normally since it usually happens every 40-50 years, it what balances out the ecosystem so not everything dies, but if that something like that is not happening then global warming actually be the cause.
