I was in Oregon a few days ago, and I saw this on the news. It seemed pretty strange and interesting, so I thought I'd post something about it here.

So, recently, in an Oregon neighborhood area, an odd high-pitched sound somewhat like a train's brakes were heard. Some people said they heard it coming from the middle of the street, but of course there wouldn't be any train there. There have been speculations about aliens, gas pipes, and all sorts of things, but it's still a pretty interesting mystery.
