Guys there has been a ton of bullying against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people out there. We are the Dollars and I think that we should stand up for these people because we really shouldn't judge people based on their sexuality.

I really appreciate that idea, but how are we going to do so?

I'm glad that other Dollars are willing to confront this issue! Now, it's more than hard to conquer this as a whole, but I think that we are most definitely able to do something, even if it's small! Here are some of my ideas:

1. Talk to a teacher about reading a book with LGBT characters, undertones, etc. If people in your classes can discover a likable LGBT character through literature, it may do well in terms of them becoming more accepting. (Or, at the least, aware.)

2. Raise awareness for LGBT history month -- which is a long way off, in October, but there's no harm in thinking about it now. You can put up pictures of famous LGBT activists and leading figures, or, if possible, talk to an instructor about bring in an LGBT speaker to your school/university.

3. If the opportunity meets you, do your own little project about LGBT rights and show it to others.

4. Write an article for your school paper, if possible, about raising awareness for the LGBT minority.

But always remember: NEVER insult another person's own views on the matter, even if you believe them to be wrong. You can convince people to accept the LGBT without attacking them.

Alrighty, since apparently people dont understand this. You really dont need to be in a large group to stop that kind of bullying. When you see them, fucking speak up others will most likely join you, even if its not with their voice. Also your not going to change how people fucking think.
/Sage and fucking think people

>>6 This isn't about making people like those groups. But it's important that they are still treated equally and with respect. Because, you see, if they handle their sexuality the way they want, they don't harm anyone, so what are people to gain of complaining about it? Nothing but seeing those people hurt.

Respect has to be earned, and honestly, I have no respect for LGBT that flaunts their identity screaming "hey! This is me!" To the world as if who they are is everyone's business.
Also they're making the timid ones suffer the backlash.
