I did some research. They are a neomasculinity group called "Return of Kings". They claim to not be pro-rape, and the meetup has technically been cancelled. They're a bunch of misogynist asshats, but only seem threatening if provoked.

There's no need to worry about the legality of rape. It's a very primitive crime and I can't see any reasonable people in power actually agreeing with it. That said, this event was going to happen all over the world in 46 different countries and there was even going to be a meeting in my own city but it was deemed dangerous to attend due to all the attention so the meetings were canceled. The group is essentially anti-sjw's but they hate feminism more it seems. They don't trust women and there are several articles on their website (http://www.returnofkings.com) which dehumanize women or otherwise illustrate them as horrible things that exist to satisfy needs. I did not look at the main dude's personal blog that allegedly supports rape (it's not hard to believe but it may have been bait for feminists and journalists) but he is clearly low. He's one of those "hahaha I got the attention of the world and now everyone knows me and my ideals" people. the maturity level on their website is very low and so is their leader's. I don't think they're of much importance personally but it's also good to be informed and keep tabs on things. That does give his website views which is what he wants but I don't like sitting in the dark so I'll give his shitty site some views indirectly to shed some light on what is going on.
