now I don't know how much of this is true but, theres been some disturbing news about a pilot scheme being run by Tencent, called Sesame credit, thats running in China. If whats been said is to be true; then its a sort of credit system that takes into account social, financial, criminal factors etc, and then gives you a score based on it. Some of the effects may well be greater social control to be more obedient to the state. Anyway I'll provide a few links down below, and I'd like to know what people think about it.

If that system took place, it's gonna be a race of reporting bad behaviors to earn credits. You can guess what would happen after that.
Also this system is for sure gonna spark some shit with western liberalism.

Indeed it would be. We've seen similar examples from previous regimes and literature as well as other mediums. Enforcing social control through either peer pressure or just pure oppression never ends out well.
