On Thursday, September 24, 2015, Two Los Angeles beaches were closed due to excess of bacteria levels and waste. It was estimated about 200 pounds of waste was collected when cleaning the beach. Scientists and officials say that the reason the trash arrived there was because of a heavy rainstorm that hit there a few days ago.
