How republicans feel about the confederate flag. (7)

So I've posted a lot of reasons why liberals wouldn't vote for republicans in the News Board as of late, but it's obvious that liberals won't vote for republicans. Now, I want to stir things up in the GOP and turn republicans against their own representatives. Why? Because I'm evil and want the GOP to fail miserably.

So, I have two articles for you. One on Jeb Bush

http://www.cnn.com/2015/06/29/politics/jeb-bush-confederate-flag-is-racist/

Here's a taste of that article.

"West Columbia, South Carolina (CNN)Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush called the Confederate flag a "racist" symbol on Monday, lauding South Carolina's efforts to remove it from the Capitol and pointing to a similar move he made as Florida's governor.

"The symbols were racist," Bush said, responding to a question about the flag from an African-American employee while on tour at Nephron Pharmaceuticals Plant in West Columbia.

It was his first visit to the Palmetto State since the racially motivated shootings of nine African-Americans in a Charleston church on June 17.

Bush said during his tenure as Florida governor, which ended in 2007, he watched as Georgia debated removing a Confederate flag on its state premises and it "dawned on me" that Florida similarly displayed those flags.

"I decided to do something politically incorrect" and remove the flags, he said.

Bush's comments come as southern states consider removing the flag -- which many view as a symbol of slavery and racism -- from government grounds. Alabama pulled four Confederate flags down, while Mississippi is considering changing its state flag, which incorporates the Confederate imagery, and Tennessee could ditch license plates that include the flag."

Then the other article on Mitt Romney

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2015/06/20/how-mitt-romneys-opposition-to-confederate-flag-just-put-the-current-gop-presidential-candidates-on-the-spot/

Here's a taste of that article...

"Mitt Romney, the Republican Party's 2012 presidential nominee, strongly condemned the flying of the Confederate flag on the grounds of the South Carolina state capitol on Saturday, prompting current GOP candidates to weigh in on a subject controversial across the "First in the South" primary state.

Romney's comments repeating his longtime position came in the wake of a shooting that left nine people dead Wednesday night at a historic black church in Charleston, S.C. Authorities were working on Saturday to determine whether the man accused of killing the nine African Americans attending a church Bible study was the author of a racist manifesto targeting blacks, Jews and Hispanics that was found on a Web site as part of an ongoing investigation.

In the wake of the shootings, critics have denounced South Carolina leaders for failing to lower to half staff a Confederate flag flying on State Capitol grounds -- and for its placement near the Capitol at all. The flag has flown atop or next to the Capitol in Columbia, S.C., since 1962. It was removed from atop the Capitol dome in 2000 and now flies at a Civil War memorial next to the Capitol.

On Saturday, Romney took to Twitter to call the flag "a symbol of racial hatred" and said it should be removed as a tribute to the victims of the shooting."

So, please feel free to share this with your conservative friends that are pro-confederate-flag.

"and honestly people should stop being so butt hurt over it "

Yeah. I mean, it was only used during a time of the biggest blood bath on our soil, the division of our nation, and the support of slave ownership being a Constitutional and God given right.
I mean, all you have to do is avoid those shops and houses with the flag on it like I did because black people generally aren't welcome there. Down in Georgia, it's basically a covert way of saying "whites only", and that cant possibly be illegal.

Those minorities and liberal Caucasians should really just get over their "butthurt".
You know, while we're at it, Jewish people really need to get over the Holocaust and Nazi symbols, and the Chinese shouldnt get mad whenever they see someone using a Rising Sun flag in their country.
People were stripped of their rights, their possessions, and their families. Millions were worked to death, starved to death, raped to death or just straight up brutally murdered.

I don't see why people have to be so "butthurt".
It's not like the people who use these flags and symbols are in support of a repeat performance. Right?
I'm sure they just like the pretty colors.

This post......

Can you all just please think instead of rambling about your superficial views of the Confederate Flag.
First i am from the North.. and i am a republican, so go ahead and paint that bulls eye on me.

That flag is a symbol of pure arrogance and any Southern family that flies it, but believes in freedom is a hypocrite.
That flag WAS flown in the PAST to fight the union AKA the North, and its REPUBLICAN leader Abraham Lincoln, who was becoming President and wanted to free the slaves, but a bunch idiots did not want that, so the rebellion began... and they lost. end of story. Yes it was a bloody war, and one of the bloodiest, but it was also in the past, so unless you think we should have slaves do not fly it and if you do fly it... well do not complain if your house gets burned down or you end up missing a kidney or your life.

That being said, yes a lot of the country is overreacting, but its not because of the flag i can say that with 100% confidence.. its because people are getting upset with the way society is going or they are just a bunch of liberal college punks trying to make their big appearance and they are looking for outlets. and the easiest ones are.. get ready... RACISM and SEXISM. Well i am sure this topic will continue because in the states we have nothing worse to think about, so enjoy your superficial complacent lives and remember REPUBLICANS consist of most of the military, so we will protect your idiotic views and be labeled as bad people.
