I'm using my phone to post this, so I'll just post a few experiences.

"The victims after they went home had anonymously leave confessions. Here are some of the confessions:

#1: We were holding onto the swim ring at the lazy river for about 3 minutes. Then we heard a commotion at the back, as we turned around we saw hundreds of boys crowded the whole river, screaming and going towards the three of us. I was shock and choked on water, many arms pushed my head down. I felt my breast and my private area being grab and pull and scratch very painful, my butt was groped too. My bikini top was pull up to my neck and the bottom was pull till my knee. Even though i was choking, but i felt clearly someone was fingering me, my legs was spread apart. My head was still pressed down, I was out of breath and I thought I was going to drown. The water go up my nose to my brain, my throat. Those arms scratch and pull me up, my head hit the coping. Then there was people grab my hair, my arm to pull out of the swimming pool. I was coughing really hard so I didn’t even realize I was completely naked…

#2: I was swimming in the lazy river with my friends. Behind us, all the boys kept splashing water like crazy, we were so freak out that all of us decided to go out of the river. As we just got out, one of my friend, who were still near the river, were pulled down and dragged to the centre of the river and was being splashed water and her head was pressed down. We saw our friend being surrounded by bunches of guys, we kept crying and called out: please help my friend, someone please help my friend. Around us, people kept on using phone to record and laugh like they were at the circus.

#3: My sister went with her friends. When they came back, they were crying their eyes out. Their necks, shoulders and thighs are full of scratches and bruises.

#4: It was too crowded so my boyfriend and I just played near the swimming pool coping. Suddenly I saw on my boyfriend head some milky fluid, when I touched, it was slippery and a bit thick. I dragged my boyfriend out of the pool immediately and asked him to wash his hair and we went home right after. Those animals masturbated in the swimming pool."

I can't find any other articles on this at all. All of them mention the crowd but none of them mention this.

It might just be too soon but I'd think I could find more. This is really concerning since it's possible no one is covering it, but it's also possible they're exaggerating and the guys just rushed the pool. Does anyone have links to those screencaps of the boasting?

I found another one, right after I posted that:

http://www.thanhniennews.com/commentaries/risking-life-and-limb-for-a-few-dollars-42393.html

But, it briefly mentions it among the main story, which makes me think there's little more than the personal accounts that prove this assault. That's fucking brutal, this kind of shit cannot be done without consequences. Where is the law when it is needed?

Another article for Inu. No big articles yet because the first was a translation from a Vietnam article. Essentially because the Vietnam government isn't doing anything about it.

>>5 Thank you, my research is slipping.

"However, the Vice Managing Director of the park said no such thing happened, and that the girls' swimwear were ripped because these were poor quality bikinis."

Jesus fucking Christ.
This is unimaginable. I thought they'd say something stupid like "This is a minor incident, not all of them did this", etc. I did not think they would flat out deny it and hope no one got a good video of it. They already had pictures so that's pretty ballsy.

This is a perfect example of why we need education on both sides of the gender line about sexual assault. Clearly, these people (mostly the young boys) don't understand grabbing someone's breast is not 'all in good fun', or some kind of lighthearted gesture. It is sexual assault, it is a crime, and these people should go to jail. Simple as that. No "Ah, but they were wearing bikinis!" Yeah, they were also at a fucking public pool. It's like breaking into their house and blaming the assault on them because they were in their underwear.

Fuck, I really want to punch someone in the mouth. Sexual assault in general is not taken nearly as seriously as it should.

This is very unfortunate, and disappointing. At this point in time the only actions we can take is to prevent this by educating others.

About the violence... Anything solved with violence, will bring about more violence and contribute to delegation of power to a lower level.

In short, violent actions brings about nothing good.

Be safe out there.

The only thing I can think of that's worse than the this was the Miryang Gang-Rape Incident: At least 41 male high school students gang raped several middle school and high school girls over the course of 11 months. For several months the victims were threatened and harassed by the parents of perpetrators for reporting the rapes.

Then the victims had asked to be questioned by a female police officer, but their request was ignored. One police officer allegedly said to the victims, "Did you try to entice the guys? You ruined the reputation of Miryang. The boys who would lead the city were all arrested. What are you going to do?...I am afraid that my daughter will be like you." Police also leaked enough information to the media for the victims to be identified. Furthermore, they forced the victims to identify the suspects face-to-face, rather than through a one-way mirror, with the officer asking the victim, "Did he insert [it] or not?" One of the victims had to be hospitalized for psychiatric treatment after these experiences.

THEN absolutely NO ONE was convicted over the most IDIOTIC reasons. The prosecutor sent most of the accused to Juvenile Court or dropped charges. Ten others were formally accused of group sexual assault, with prosecutors asking for two to four years imprisonment with a three-year stay of execution. Citing the young age of the offenders and the fact that some had already been admitted to college or hired for jobs, the judges refused the charges against even these ten, instead sending them to Juvenile Court.

Rape culture, man. It exists, where you wanna believe or not.

Oh man I heard about this... it's really disgusting and sad that people have to put up with this stuff :(

>>13 Holy crap
You can get serious PTSD from being raped seriously they should have all gotten some psychiatric treatment and had those rapists behind bars. That's terrible...

16 Name: Magnolia : 2015-07-17 21:54 ID:XvOMGAnd [Del]

>>15 What gets me is how often we want to give RAPISTS second chances and never drug addicts or alcoholics.

Here me out.

Drugs and alcohol can chemically impair the brain and a person's judgement. The addiction is actually damaging to your mind and psyche, which results in you doing some pretty stupid shit.

RAPISTS on the other hand are 9/10 NOT UNDER ANY INFLUENCE except their own wants and desires; coldly and purposefully causing a woman immense pain and trauma by penetration (sometimes even with an object), simply because THEY WANTED TO AND NEITHER CARED ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES OR THE WOMAN'S/MAN'S CONSENT...

And yet, most people are more willing to protect and support rapists, people who knowingly did what they did without remorse or guilt... And condemn a decade or more in prison to druggies and alcoholics who are in desperate need of help because of how addiction has taken over their lives, choices, and actions.
