"However, the Vice Managing Director of the park said no such thing happened, and that the girls' swimwear were ripped because these were poor quality bikinis."
Jesus fucking Christ.
This is unimaginable. I thought they'd say something stupid like "This is a minor incident, not all of them did this", etc. I did not think they would flat out deny it and hope no one got a good video of it. They already had pictures so that's pretty ballsy.
This is a perfect example of why we need education on both sides of the gender line about sexual assault. Clearly, these people (mostly the young boys) don't understand grabbing someone's breast is not 'all in good fun', or some kind of lighthearted gesture. It is sexual assault, it is a crime, and these people should go to jail. Simple as that. No "Ah, but they were wearing bikinis!" Yeah, they were also at a fucking public pool. It's like breaking into their house and blaming the assault on them because they were in their underwear.
Fuck, I really want to punch someone in the mouth. Sexual assault in general is not taken nearly as seriously as it should.
