US special operations forces have killed an Islamic State commander through a dramatic and secretive raid into Syria and have taken a woman prisoner, the first US-held detainee of the war against Isis and a move that places immediate stress on one of Barack Obama’s signature wartime policies...

Bernadette Meehan, the National Security Council spokeswoman, said in a separate statement that the operation also freed a young Yazidi woman whom Abu Sayyaf and Umm Sayyaf kept as “a slave”. Isis members have committed human trafficking and slavery, particularly against the Yazidi minority, whose persecution on a mountaintop in Iraq last year sparked Obama to begin airstrikes on Isis...

I'm glad that the slave gained her freedom.
I supposed they deserved this since they hurt so many people.

...and now ISIS has Ramadi. Bastards.😾

ISIS wouldn't be such a problem if the US would stop selling them weapons.

>>5 That's Saudi Arabia.

I've only heard where we're at fault to be when we do an air drop and it's intercepted, or when we train and arm soldiers to fight back, and they wind up running for their lives and leaving all the gear and ammunition behind. Remember when there was an ISIS truck that had the logo of a small American business, and the business owner had no idea how it got on the other side of the Atlantic? Yeah, THAT was strange.

Ramadi is just one of many city that are going to be "Taken back". U.N. troops have fought to hold it for around a decade now. but since many troops are moving out.. someone with a gun(isis) will eventually move in.

>>6 um, I'm pretty sure we not only armed them but trained them also.
Back when they were called "Syrian Rebels."

>>8 You said we were selling ISIS weapons. The Washington-backed Syrian opposition disbanding and some of those members joining ISIS isn't the same thing.

>>9 lol
Just like we didn't arm the cartels in Mexico!
We didn't sell them anything, we gave it to them.
ISIS has been a thing a lot longer than the news has talked about it man.
Why even have eyes if they are closed so tight, bruh?

And since the inception of ISIS they have had a strong presence in Syria.

>>10 So now you're saying we didn't sell anything, "we gave it to them"? I'm going to now assume that you are one of those conspiracy theorists and leave you to your ideas. If you can't link to what you're talking about or at the very least /discuss/ whatever you're talking about instead of leaving vague sentences, then I can't take what you say seriously.

this is good news, i think anything that slows down an organization that destroys history is perfect, human trafficking and horrific human rights violations and not to mention the horrible education they teach. I stand by what happened here, however i hope we dont turn into monsters in order to defeat monsters

>>13 That was the case with the drone strikes. Apparently the US military is developing a new system that will add more precision.

>I'm going to now assume that you are one of those conspiracy theorists
kek okay

>If you can't link to what you're talking
Mate, that's the whole point of black flag ops, there are very few links. What links I do have I am not posting here because A.) you won't be able to open them with your pleb browser.
B.) I will get into trouble

>very least /discuss/ whatever you're talking about
I am.

>I can't take what you say seriously
That's okay, I figured you for a shill since the second week you were here.

>>19 This.
>>18 And thanks for the correction. Sorry I confused you with someone else.

Like Inu said, I meant discuss like /give details/ to whatever the hell it is you're talking about.

"You'll get in trouble?" They -whoever they are- will know that it was you who shared the link? Yet you accessing these places is completely fine?

>>That's okay, I figured you for a shill since the second week you were here.

i've been here for years, so... If you can remember something as specific as "the second week" I was on the site...

No.

No.
That's why I won't post links.

>If you can remember something as specific as "the second week" I was on the site
I was mostly exaggerating, I don't really think you're a shill.
