Now, I know what you're thinking, "But Leigha! I don't agree with abortion! I like that law!" Well, here's the kicker. What if having the child was a risk to the mother of child's health? What if it was the advice of the most pro-life doctor to get it aborted because of health risks?

While I do have a biased opinion against abortion due to the fact of both how I was raised and how I came into being I do understand that for some people it is better to have an abortion than to not have one.

Yeah, I don't think anyone has." is very false and offensive to me. Why? My mother was put at risk for having me because she was too old when she became pregnant with me. She was told that at about 10 weeks. Obviously we know what happened because I'm sitting her typing this message and my mom is very much alive and well. So please, don't ever make this assumption again because hey look, my parents decided to keep me.

Uhg, prolifers make me so mad, especially when they hide their asshole ideals behind religion. Look, I get that you are morally opposed to abortion and all, but it's not your body and you don't get to decide what to do with it.

I hear what you're saying, it's just I have just genuinely never heard of an intelligent and ethically correct (not corrupted) Texas politician. But if someone could just point me in the right direction, that'd be mighty kind.

Personally, I don't believe any part of the world needs politicians. I'm in favor of people owning guns, marrying people of the same sex, smoking pot or doing anything else so long as they respect the personal property, individual liberty and physical safety of those around them.

Governments just use the threat of physical violence to extort money from people and tell them what they can or can't do. It's like an over-grown street gang.

Of course, that's just one person's opinion and you're free to disagree (as you probably do)

And governments can use that kind of threat, though I think other kinds such as threatening people financially and imprisonment are more used. Though I can't say for sure. Though of course, without some kind of punishment as a form of insentive, so to speak, governments wouldn't really work... the people would just step all over them. And by then, why even have one?
