Recently, I read an article about ISIS selling young children into slavery, forcing mentally handicapped kids into service as suicide bombers, using them as human shields against American air strikes, and conducting mass executions of children by beheading them, crucifying them, and burying them alive. I honestly don't understand how ISIS can put children at risk, I wonder if the people working for ISIS has a family, like everyone was born with common sense. The problem is the Qu'ran, because its quotations can be interpreted the way someone wants to interpret for example:" Of those who answered the call of Allah [. . . ] those who do right and refrain from wrong have a great reward." ( Chapter 3, verse 172).

Off topic: I love how Christians say the Qu'ran instills violence in believers, and then they kind of forget about our own religious Father's massacres of entire villages, and God's judgment raining down, wiping out cities and crippling nations.

As a journalist, I can say that the original article does not appear to be a reliable source. They're terrible when it comes to using neutral language, and they have an agenda to promote. I would much rather have just read the original Reuter's article, which, if you read it, makes it very clear that not only mentally challenged children are being used as human shields or buried alive.

What this thread has done is taken a brief comment from a much larger problem and used it so support claims made about other groups. I'm not saying that using mentally challenged children as suicide bombers is fine in any way, but present the problem as it is instead of embellishing it to evoke more of a response.

After all, it was the embellishing of facts that got us involved in Iraq in the first place.

They are choosing to focus on something different, it's like saying 'They are killing innocent children!'. They obviously aren't just killing children, but that's what means the most to them.

Not sure what previously agreeable opinion changes now that we know they are targeting other children who aren't mentally handicapped along with these children.
