So recently in my area a woman drowned her daughter in the bathtub after seeing an add on TV about "saving the children". When my teacher told us about this he said, "I asked my own daughter about the girl who was killed since they went to the same school and she told me, "We never played much, but she seemed nice.""
I just thought this was really messed up and I felt like sharing since this rattled me quite a bit. It's just not fair to the little girl who didn't do anything to deserve this and now will never have a chance to grow up and experience all the wonderful things in life.

This is really fucked. I am starting to think maybe we should have a license or other kind of test to have a kid. I have no idea how that would be implemented, though.

I have personally know some crazy people and some who wouldn't pass that test if it existed. But they are some of the best parents I've ever seen! There has got to be a way of stopping this messed up stuff though.

Anyway, I imagine with each health check-up would be an additional session with a psychiatrist. They'll tell you if you're life is on firm footing or not, if here are areas in need of improvement, and how long you'll have to make those improvements. Otherwise, the baby gets taken into child services.

Yes. Child services suck ass right now, but because they got the child too late.
