Yes, the Keene, N.H. Pumpkin Festival became the target of hundreds of rioting Keene State College students because, "oh hell, why not", attracting other unruly teens from around New England to migrate to Keene in order to cause chaos. Police responded with riot gear and tear gas. Many were arrested and a fair amount of people had to be hospitalized. Video and photographs from a variety of sources have been uploaded to the net.
