Winds ripped through foundations blowing entire homes away

At least 17 people have been killed by tornadoes as a huge storm system swept across the central and southern United States.

Sixteen of the victims were in several suburbs of Little Rock in Arkansas, officials said.

One other person was killed in the town of Quapaw in the north-east of Oklahoma where officials said many buildings were badly damaged.

Tornadoes also struck in Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Missouri.

There are tornado warnings happening almost everywhere, but so far it has just been raining here in my town so far so that's good news.

My physics teacher's sister's neighbor's house was apparently destroyed in the Vilonia tornado.

It's a small world after all.

Update: sence last sunday there has been an estimated 124 tornados and 27 reported deaths

Hey would u not post these things because i knew some of these people and i live in Conway Arkansas which is in the middle of Mayflower and Vilonia and we didn't get touched...but mayflower and vilonia was obliterated

News is news. If you don't want to see what's going on in the world because it impacted your community, then don't come on this board.

It's important for people to know what happened so that they can support you guys. If we had censored all the news when Sandy hit and said "we don't want to see this," we wouldn't have gotten all the assistance we did.

Asking for it to be taken down because you personally don't want to see it when it's informing others to help your community is a lil selfish, imo.
