Malaysia Airlines MH370 vanished early Saturday on an overnight flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people aboard. No trace of the plane or evidence of its fate has been found.

Malaysia Airlines has come under intense pressure from enraged relatives of the 227 missing passengers, who are demanding answers to the plane’s perplexing disappearance.
The plane also had 12 crew.
Despite a search by several nations over a wide swathe of sea in Southeast Asia using dozens of aircraft and ships, the airline and Malaysian authorities say they still have no idea what happened to the plane.

The last communication received from a Malaysia Airlines plane suggests everything was normal on board minutes before it went missing over the South China Sea, Malaysian authorities say.

Flight MH370 replied "All right, roger that" to a radio message from Malaysian air control, authorities said.

The search has been widened to waters off both sides of the peninsula.

Malaysia's air force chief has denied reports the plane was tracked to the Malacca Strait in the west.

The China-bound plane went missing on Saturday with 239 people on board.

It vanished about an hour after it took off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, as it flew over the South China Sea, south of Vietnam's Ca Mau peninsula. No distress signal or message was sent.

It's so tragic, the plain just got missing, I recon there was a suicide bomber on the plain and it's somewhere in the ocean. I'm not being cruel or anything but it's unlikely the plane will be found in one piece.

Other thread was first but this thread is better.

Update: Malaysian military said the plane briefly came into radar view about two hours after they lost contact with it, heading 90 degrees North from the set destination. Planes fly low to avoid going on the radar, so this suggests a relatively knowledgeable pilot. After issuing that statement, however, Malaysian officials pretty much immediately retracted it, with the guy who released the information going as far as to say that he never did any such thing.

Shit's getting shifty.

Why the pilot is trying to avoid radar is beyond me but something is defiantly up.

It's been 6 days this plane mysteriously disappeared. Various rumors can be heard. Couldn't say more, because all of the people's opinion doesn't have strong evidence.

Okay- they have compiled a bunch of evidence and have pretty much figured out what happened.

A few weeks before leaving some cracks were noticed on parts of the plane's hull, this was reported to be serviced but most likely not done in time. 2 hours into the flight the cabin deoxidised, leading to everybody pretty much passing out (which is great because it is then humane). This is explained by the 20 or so people that attempted to call phones on the flight and got ringing but no answers. After the crew and passengers passed out the plane set itself into autopilot mode, with Malaysian Airlines tracking it's data to fly for another 4 hours. The plane eventually ran out of fuel and literally fell out of the sky into an unidentified part of the ocean, possibly where China found the pieces of wreckage.

Pretty much done.

>>8 Planes are not allowed to take off if any reparations are not done in time....and if there is still cracks on the hull, and the aircraft depressurised or lost in cabin pressure the oxygen mask will be deployed automatically and the pilot will have to do an emergency descend...so the theory of crews and passengers passing out is not likely to happen

11 Name: Inuhakka !u4InuhakKA : 2014-03-13 15:39 ID:Pj7pbMtD [Del]

>>8 Plus, there is no way they'd all pass out at the same time. After one or two people passed out, I think the remaining people might start freaking out, and at least one person would call someone for help. >>10 is right, they also have compressed, backup oxygen inside the plane, which would become available if the plane lost oxygen. That check could fail, of course, but I don't find that very likely.

This is starting to sound even worse than when no one knew anything.

12 Name: Solace !o0GOqY0U0w : 2014-03-13 17:32 ID:rTcR6mJo [Del]

>>10 It was not noted as serious enough to be immediately repaired. A lot of screens like that are to check what needs to be repaired during the next service. Negligence is a thing.

>>11 By the time they all figured they were all falling asleep, it would have been too late. If masks drop they aren't effective when everybody is too weak and sleepy to put them on. Backup oxygen would only last for so long.

Another piece of evidence that I forgot to mention earlier is how a different plane attempted to contact the flight, but only heard mumbling. That fits in perfectly with the reported story and is on record.

All the major pieces of evidence fit with my story, I'll provide links to back up the crack section.

http://www.smh.com.au/world/us-warnings-on-boeing-safety-applied-to-missing-malaysia-airlines-plane-20140313-hvi0y.html

"On rare occasion, aircraft can also stray far off course when the pilots are incapacitated by hypoxia, a lack of oxygen that occurs when the cabin isn’t properly pressurized at altitude. This is the fate that befell Helios Airways Flight 522, a Cypriot 737 that circled Athens on autopilot after the captain and first officer failed to correctly set the pressurization system. An unpressurized cabin also led to the death of noted golfer Payne Stewart after the Learjet he was on ran out of fuel and crashed in a field in 1999, having traveled some 1,500 miles off its intended flight path."

Nd if you look it up I'm sure you'll find more.

13 Name: Neotsutei : 2014-03-13 20:45 ID:V5JdhfTD [Del]

>>12 When the aircraft depressurised, what normally come first is rapid ear pop which i believe pilots were warned to take this natural warning seriously and should there be a case in lost of cabin pressure, there are a warning in the cockpit that the pilot should take note of....I reckon that we should just continue to follow up the news and keep theories to ourself.....

>>12 The level of oxygen loss required to bring down the backup is not even close to the level required to incapacitate people. Backup oxygen would be completely worthless otherwise. Again, different people would become incapacitated at very different rates. Some people would certainly hang on long enough for masks, and by then they would realize what had happened.

This theory hinges on the fact that the backup oxygen somehow failed to deploy. I guess when considering the crack going unnoticed in the first place, that is possible, however I think it is far less likely to laugh off a problem with life-saving oxygen masks than a small crack in the hull. I really can't swallow that, I feel like something else happened on that flight.

This is starting to sound more and more like Lost.

Malaysia plane: Indian Ocean search for missing jet

The US has sent surveillance teams to the Indian Ocean to help search for the missing Malaysian plane, after claims emerged that it may have flown for longer than investigators had thought.

Unnamed officials said the plane sent signals to satellites for up to five hours after its apparent disappearance.

However, investigators said the data were not conclusive and Malaysia refused to comment on the claims.

They're definitely looking at it being a hijacking now.

"KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) -- The missing Malaysian jetliner was deliberately diverted and continued flying for more than six hours after severing contact with the ground, meaning it could have gone as far northwest as Kazakhstan or into the Indian Ocean's southern reaches, Malaysia's leader said Saturday.

[...]

Investigators now have a high degree of certainty that one of the plane's communications systems - the Aircraft and Communications Addressing and Reporting System - was disabled before the aircraft reached the east coast of Malaysia, Najib said. Shortly afterward, someone on board switched off the aircraft's transponder, which communicates with civilian air traffic controllers.
Najib confirmed that Malaysian air force defense radar picked up traces of the plane turning back westward, crossing over Peninsular Malaysia into the northern stretches of the Strait of Malacca. Authorities previously had said this radar data could not be verified.
"These movements are consistent with deliberate action by someone on the plane," Najib said.
Although the aircraft was flying virtually blind to air traffic controllers at this point, onboard equipment continued to send "pings" to satellites.
The prime minister said the last confirmed signal between the plane and a satellite came at 8:11 a.m. - 7 hours and 31 minutes after takeoff. This was more than five hours later than the previous time given by Malaysian authorities as the possible last contact.
Airline officials have said the plane had enough fuel to fly for up to about eight hours.

[...]

Fourteen countries are involved in the search for the plane, using 43 ships and 58 aircraft.
A U.S. P-8A Poseidon, the most advanced long-range anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare aircraft in the world, was to arrive over the weekend and sweep parts of the Indian Ocean, the U.S. Defense Department said in a statement."

It has been 10 days since Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777-200 MH370 went mysteriously missing.. Police are still trying to investigate the true reason behind the disappearance of airplane MH370.. It seems like they are focusing on pilots.. Saying that they may have done something during the flight. Because the radio transmitter was turn off before the radio contact but not after.

24 Name: AnimeQueen : 2014-03-17 04:56 ID:BWcuEjZw [Del]

I heard two things and I don't know if any are true but here they are,
- Two passengers stole passports and couldn't get on but their luggage was still on so the aeroplane did a u turn and is now heading back. i think that is false.
- Two passengers stole passports and they got on board... nothing else... so yeah...

There has also been another report given by the Police stating: 1) The U-turn was already Programmed into the flight computer as a course of action.
2) One of the pilot's home containing a flight simulator, might give clues to the perpetrator of this incident.

I think the pilots brought the 777 to India for sale, its worth more than 35,000,000 dollars. India is a big country so it would be easy to hide and once it was sold the buyers would have altered the plane to cover it up and so it disappears and the plane will never be found. The pilots walk away as millionaires and take hiding in India where they will never be found again. And since the world is tripping over themselves trying to find the plane its gives them more than enough time to disappear. The passengers however are almost certainly dead. The pilots most likely have depleted the oxygen killing the passengers which would explain why we can't find their cell phones GPS. Of course I may be wrong 'cause its just a theory but I seriously doubt most of the other explanations.

They say that the radar was switched off after take off which is why they cant track it but they also said that it could have only been done by someone from inside the plain so this had to have been planed out by someone.

The second day of an international search for a missing Malaysian airliner has concluded without any sightings of debris in the southern Indian Ocean.

The operation is due to start again on Saturday. with extra vessels joining the search, Australian officials say.

Five aircraft took part in Friday's search for flight MH370, which vanished on 8 March with 239 people on board.

Satellite images have revealed objects possibly related to the plane in waters far south-west of Western Australia.

Bad weather had initially hampered Thursday's operation, but conditions improved on Friday.

Experts have warned that the searchers face extremely treacherous seas and that a recovery would be very dangerous.

The Malaysian government has made a solemn speech on the missing aircraft MH370, it is known , or at least it is shown that the aircraft parts were found near a remote area off the coasts of perth.
The relatives of the passengers from beijing are now establishing their own stand. Many say the Malaysian Government made the news sound like a crash using the form of the media, many are convinced it is a fraud to banish the theories that the society came up with. The Beijing government wishes to confirm with the Malaysian Government all evidence found as it concerns their people.

With much of the unreliability of the source due lack of evidence, and the fact the people are still clinging on to the hope that their relatives survived, riots and many other unwanted problems would arise. If these news were to be forbidden thereafter, there would be much suspicion amongst all countries. Yet we cannot take any sides, nor can we assume the reason of the missing aircraft nor if the evidence is truthful.

Ships are still sent to review the area in order to research and investigate on HOW it dissappeared.

They haven't technically found the plane. they just saw debris that is more likely a part of the plane

NEWS UPDATE: -- Search teams shifted to a different part of the Indian Ocean Friday in their hunt for the missing Malaysia Airlines plane after "a new credible lead," authorities said.
"It indicated that the aircraft was traveling faster than previously estimated, resulting in increased fuel usage and reducing the possible distance the aircraft traveled south into the Indian Ocean," the authority said in a statement. The renewed search for Flight 370 in the southern Indian Ocean comes a day after Japan and Thailand both said they'd sent new satellite images to Malaysia showing separate debris fields that could be related to the plane, which vanished March 8 with 239 people aboard. While analysts say it's intriguing that the finds all appear to be in the same general area, searchers have yet to lay eyes on any of the objects, much less haul one aboard a ship and examine it.
--The idea that Zaharie or co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid were responsible for the plane's baffling disappearance is one of many theories investigators continue to pursue.
One line of speculation suggests Zaharie might have hijacked the plane as a political act. He has been identified as a supporter of a high-profile Malaysian opposition figure.A senior Malaysian government official Wednesday told CNN law enforcement analyst Tom Fuentes that authorities have found nothing in 19 days of investigating the two pilots that leads them to any motive, be it political, suicidal or extremist.
And an ongoing FBI review of the two pilots' hard drives, including one in a flight simulator Zaharie had built at his home, has not turned up a "smoking gun," a U.S. official with knowledge of the investigation told CNN.
"They have accessed the data," the official said. "There is nothing that's jumping out and grabbing us right now."
And investigators haven't found anything suspicious with any of the other crew members or passengers, leaving them struggling to find an explanation.
"I don't think there is a prevailing theory," one U.S. official told CNN. "There are counterarguments to every theory right now."

Doesn't it seem odd that the entire world is searching for this one missing plane and they still can't find it? I'm starting to think some secret government agencies are not sharing information or that they are behind it. If this plane crashed in the ocean they would have parts that would've floated in the ocean and even though we found debris no one has said that "yes, this is part of the missing plane" or "No, this is not a part of the missing plane"
