This is much the same as the difference between rebels and revolutionaries, or traitors and patriots. It's all in the eye of the beholder.
The corporate owned media which are owned by the same corporations that have practically bought congress says that they are terrorists, but I say that they are no more terrorists than our own American revolutionaries were.
For those who stand to lose(we may lose NAFTA, the ability to underpay Mexican workers), things like this are terrorism. To those who stand to gain (the poor Mexicans who get shot at for expressing freedom of speech) it is standing up for themselves.
I'm with >>2 on the "it's all about perspective" thing. To all the people safe in their homes, these people are doing nothing but harm. But to the poor Mexicans who fear for their safety, it's the only real option.
As a Mexican-American myself I find there to be traitors on both sides. Mexico's government struggles to maintain order while the corrupt and the cartels hold their foothold on creating their own order. They're villains.
I'm sure people would have said the same things about the French, Russian and Chinese revolutions when they were beginning. Let's face it, repressed people in groups are stupid, violent and vengeful. They may be fighting against a fucked up system, but what's to stop them from just mangling it all the more? If a rapist kills a murderer to take his victim, is the rapist a good guy? (the answer is no)

Terrorism happens every day, It's every where. We just don't see it..at least us Americans. It's been going on for years around the world so i don't think it makes sense to over speculate or re-act to these stories, videos ect.
