This is literally what some locals do to tourists every week in my home town. It isn't a 'new game' called knockout, it's simply king-hitting people, then mugging them. I refuse to credit this as a new fad, it's just adolescent dicks being adolescent dicks. Also, if all they do is punch the victim, it's not leaving them 'unconscious or dead', it's simply leaving them unconscious.

when i was growing up in new jersey they did this. I got hit but they didn't hit hard enough to put me down i on the other hand did. I'm all for fighting if its in good intent say protecting yourself or someone else. But just going up and trying to knock someone out or beat them up is just ridiculous.

This has been happening near where I live in PA. It was in the Philadelphia Inquirer that a woman in fact DID shoot 2 of her assailants dead.

This isn't totally new... It was a "trend" in Italy some years ago, but this brutality ended when a 81 year old lady hit his head hard when falling and died...
Though, all off the aggressors where minors and no one went to jail.
