Geprgia middle schooler Angelina Branham got arrested and expelled from school. After she got out of juvy, spending 2 days in- she was put on house arrest. Her mom put her on the news and they said Angelina turned the knife in herself, had straight A's and never got in trouble and she said she dreamed of going to Stanford. The knife was 2 inches and was accidentally put in her pocket in a rush to get to the bus. Our youthts make mistakes every now and then but then if they don't they aren't kids their mini adults. Then if they correct their own mistakes and do the right thing it effects them. She got criminal anf edducational charges for a mistake. Zero tollerence leaves no arrea for gray when thats not life at all. Theres always a way out of a charge but the school is making an example of this kid. It's not right. Try telling me i'm wrong.

So sad that good kids get in trouble for mistakes. I hope she comes out of this with her head high and gets into the school she wants.

The no tolerance policy I find to be a lazy policy and shows that a school may have a great lack in good judgement. This girl's life is now ruined basically due said policy.
