I just saw a news thread in the newspaper that our planet's magnetic field is weakening and the sun is causing some bad shit to us. I heard someone say "it will kill us all when the god meets the son" What a bunch of bullshit!!!!

I actual think that is scientifically valid about the Earth's magnetic field. If a solar flare happens at the right intensity, it could do a lot of damage to electronic equipment. I don't know all the facts but I that part isn't complete bullshit.

If someone wants to believe that solar flares are caused by God or whatever, then that is fine. But I would encourage you to educate them on the basic facts and make sure they understand the science behind it. After that, they can believe whatever they want.

Not to mention, how is this actually news? It's just you getting angry about some news you read. Even if this was a viable story, you provided no links and didn't add an objective description.

While some of that article is false, the earths magnetic field is weakening and the sun is currently going through a polar switch, which is able to cause cronoal mass ejections and such.
