Jaurez vigilante killing group (64)

1 Name: Takizawa : 2013-07-08 22:33 ID:l8PPnxiR [Del]

A group calling itself the Juárez Citizens Command is threatening to strike back against lawlessness that has gripped the city for more than a year by killing one criminal a day until order is restored.
The announcement by the shadowy organization is the first known act of organized vigilantism in Juárez.
The city's police and the Mexican army have been unable to stop a plague of killings, extortion, carjackings and other crime. Last year, more than 1,600 people were slain in Juárez.
"Better the death of a bad person, than that bad person continue contaminating our region," the group, named Comando Ciudadano por Juárez, or CCJ in Spanish, stated in a news release spread Thursday on the Internet.
The legitimacy of the previously unknown organization remains in question. In recent years, rival Mexican drug traffickers, activists and others have used the Internet to spread information, propaganda and threats.
The CCJ stated that it is not linked to any political party and that it is paid for by business owners fed up with crime. The group said it would issue a manifesto in the coming days urging people to join its "post-revolutionary movement" and would set up a system to receive information about criminals.
"Our mission is to finish each 24 hours with the life of a criminal," the CCJ stated. "... The hour has come to stop this disorder in Juárez."
Juárez city government spokesman Jaime Torres said authorities were aware of the news release and were taking seriously.
Anyone have any thoughts on this

Good for them. Even though I believe people should get fair trials, Mexico didn't function that way to begin with. I have no problem with vigilantes striking out against confirmed criminals who haven't paid their dues.

Is this still going on, taking into consideration that last mention of this group was in 2009? Doing some research I can't say that I see anything that has been within the last few years or so, so it's not terribly recent. But this is probably me just being nitpicky.

I think that this group is reminiscent of the minutemen that the U.S. used to have, which is interesting considering Mexico's political state. Does anyone think that this would cause any possible unrest if this group is still active?

are thay doing a good thing or a bad thing by killing criminals? and how do thay know who to kill? hell for all we know thay could be killing innocent people along with the criminals. killing is wrong anyway we don't get to decide
Who will live and who will die. thats God's job.

24 Name: Steve : 2013-07-23 11:15 ID:NaJNC6ym [Del]

>>23 No, its not gods job. If you live somewhere that is home to corruption you have 2 choices: End it or live w/ it. Some people choose to end it... permanently. I for one support this group. Let me put it to you this way: If god decides everything... why did he choose to allow this evil to continue? I believe in god too, but I believe action comes before faith.

25 Name: SassyGirl : 2013-07-23 12:42 ID:G+TjtCzr [Del]

>>24 If god decides everything why did he choose to allow this evil to continue. good question why is that? well God dousen't always allow bad thing to happen. we live in an imperfect world that is controlled by Satan. Satan makes bad things happen and god allows it. however God can interfere in what happens in small ways that becomes blessings in a big way.

26 Name: Steve : 2013-07-23 13:05 ID:NaJNC6ym [Del]

>>25 "Satan makes bad things happen and god ALLOWS it." This is why people choose to take action. Obviously people were sick of waiting for those "small ways that become blessings in a big way" & decided to free there homes from tyranny.

27 Name: SassyGirl : 2013-07-23 14:17 ID:G+TjtCzr [Del]

if people were sick of waiting then that can only mean that thay don't have faith in god or thay don't trust god. tyranny huh tyranny is cruelty and injustice in the exercise of power or authority over others. sounds like Satan to me. anyway how do you free your home of tyranny when tyranny is everywhere?

28 Name: Steve : 2013-07-23 14:25 ID:NaJNC6ym [Del]

>>27 I'm glad you asked, you free yourself from tranny by fighting it... and killing it if need be. By raising arms against those that would kill for profit & drugs amongst other things, you rid the world of those that would commit & spread evil.

>>28 I see but no matter how much you fight tranny it will never stop. you think it's bad now trust me it's going to get a lot worse. “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all” (:26-27). the lord Jesus indicates that the world which exists before His return will be given over to pleasure-seeking, immorality, perversion, idleness, and a rejection of the things of God. All godly standards that made many nations great will be forgotten in favour of licentiousness, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17). that's how bad it's going to get so trying to fight tyranny is next to impossible.

>>42 "so long as she's allowed to post on the News board, she's not going to leave" freedom of speech allows individuals to express themselves without interference or constraint. so are you saying that im not allowed to post on the news board? by saying that you are saying that I don't have the right to freedom of speech.

47 Name: Solace !o0GOqY0U0w : 2013-07-24 22:12 ID:So2C563y [Del]

>>46 "Freedom of speech is the political right to communicate one's opinions and ideas using one's body and property to anyone who is willing to receive them." Nobody is willing to receive what you have to say, please leave.

48 Name: SassyGirl : 2013-07-24 22:58 ID:G+TjtCzr [Del]

>>47 XD wow your dumb you don't even know what freedom of speech is. yes freedom of speech is a right. but it has nothing to do with people receiveing what I have to say. receiveing what I have to say is a choice not a right. Freedom of speech is the ability to speak without censorship or limitation. Also called freedom of expression, it refers not only to verbal speech but any act of communicating information or ideas, including publications, broadcasting, art, advertising, film, and the Internet. Freedom of speech and freedom of expression are closely related to the concepts of freedom of thought and conscience.

>>48 You do realise that what I wrote was the literal UN definition of the right to free speech? Like, if anything is official, that is it. If you aren't talking about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, you have a different degree of free speech to just about every single person in the world.

52 Name: SassyGirl : 2013-07-25 07:50 ID:G+TjtCzr [Del]

>>51 "You do realise that what I wrote was the literal UN definition of the right to free speech?" hmmm then may I suggest re-thinking what you sead "using one's body and property to anyone who is willing to receive them." im sorry but that part just dousen't sound right. 53 Name: Solace !o0GOqY0U0w : 2013-07-25 08:00 ID:T/qiNiGq [Del]

>>52 How fucking stupid are you? The UN as in United Nations as in that giant group of nations that work together in an attempt to stabilize the world. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is what literally every first world country follows. In that declaration, that is how they define free speech. So it is the literal definition of free speech.

I think its great. its like what Light from death note does. he kills bad people then the crimes stop because people are afraid of getting caught. and criminals deserve to die. if they have committed a bad enough crime. why waste money on jails? why not just kill the people who do wrong? (note I am not religious this is just part of what I know about religion, please do not take offence if I say something wrong) the bible says something about Jesus ridding the world of all people bad. but he is not doing a good job. and not all people believe in that religion so people need to start doing the job themselves to make sure that s gets done and no more good people get hurt.

56 Name: Sejin !PKt//nzxc2 : 2013-07-25 19:37 ID:galrkOUK [Del]

>>55 But who gets to say who can kill or who can be killed or what is considered bad or evil? Morality is subjective. What may seem extremely bad to some people is only slightly bad to other people. And then there are people like me who think it is wrong to kill no matter the reason.

57 Name: SassyGirl : 2013-07-25 19:46 ID:G+TjtCzr [Del]

2) I looked into this and there is a large chance that it is not legitimate. Stories that are nearly identical pop up from the years 2009, 2011 and 2012, from quite a few shady websites
3) You didn't provide a source in the first place, making this thread illegitimate

The JCC is legitimate, but they are pretty unorganized and far too rough around the edges to ever actually make a change.

However, I support the people standing up and murdering cartel members.

Hurrah, Mexibros.
