At least my family
tried to save my cousin and his brothers from the horrors that they experienced from their moms (yes, momS). But inevitably, it's the child's choice whether to seek help or not.
I think therapy should be placed in a more positive light. Whenever people say they see a therapist, there's always that underline meaning that something may be wrong with them. I think EVERYONE needs therapy. Maybe at schools or something. I wish it could be mandatory because it would at least provide an opportunity for a child to reach out for help.
But of course, at a stage like this, it's far too late.
