Is it bad that I live in the US and I'm a bit excited if this were true? I just love post-apocalypse verse. I didnt read the article yet, but if its soon and I live through it, I'll be just thrivin man.

Um, I don't know about you, but I don't think it said anything about an asteroid hitting America. But it did say that NASA is tracking asteroids. Also, it said "three weeks from now"...that was in March, it's May now.
If I'm wrong and I just missed some details, I apologize.

>>5 You're right.

1) It never said anything about the asteroid hitting. It said that it was close to hitting New York though.
2) That's incredibly out of date, so it's not that important anyways.

>>4 The fact that you think you would "thrive" in an area that had just taken colossal damage and is devoid of most life is pretty arrogant.

11 Name: Magnolia : 2013-05-03 12:01 ID:ls11t/Os [Del]

>>10 I think the word you were looking for was "ignorant".

But if it really was arrogant, then all I have to say is that there is a difference between arrogance and confidence.
But as I said in the damn comment, I hadnt read the article yet, so I wasnt sure how bad the damage would be, but if I'm not at ground zero, I'm pretty confident that I'll survive, and eventually thrive.

I agree with Soul. He just makes more sense.

Darkness and light side by side,

Abiding by a silent fight,

The truths are twisted,

The deaths are listed,

Don't follow the light,

They lied

I would pray. To not accomplish a dream would have one feel like they have died not in peace, and I wouldn't like that.

Can people please stop bumping this.
It was only barely worthy of the news in its prime and it is well past its date. Stop sharing stupid "Deep" opinions on it, save that for personal.

Oh wait. My B.

"Upon further review, a big scary-sounding asteroid is no longer even a remote threat to smash into Earth in about 20 years, NASA says.

Astronomers got a much better look at the asteroid when it whizzed by Earth on Wednesday from a relative safe 9 million miles away."
