Yeah so Congress is going to propose another law called the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act which will allow the sharing of internet traffic information between the United States Federal government with technology and manufacturing companies to "investigate cyber threats".....well this is not good at all...considering that it will potentially threaten our 4th amendment rights...and spying against the public......
Not surpising all the big companies such as FAcebook, Microsoft, IBM, and etc... are in favor of it....well that's my opinion anyways...

>>3 That doesn't mean that the post will not affect you. It is a law for American firms, this means Facebook and Google among many others. Just because you are not a US citizen does not necessarily mean that your info will be safe. If you use any website of any american firm, then you are theoretically able to be affected by this law. I say that it's the government trying to be helpful, but being shortsighted in that the law will be abused by bot firms, and potential future administrations.

Can see how it is negative as yes our privacy is being well...revoked by the government, but I can see the good points of it in a way, not advocating it in any way just saying, now if they adjusted the legislation to focus on specific areas of suspicision then that should be a great deal more fine...means not everyone's right to privacy is being revoked due to the acts of few.
What is everyone's thought regarding this?
