So I'm staying up finishing some homework,but I am watching the news and I have been informed that there has been an awful explosion in Waco, Texas (I live 15 minutes away from the city).
Apparently it was a fertilizer plant explosion.
According to the news 60 to 70 people have died from the explosion, and many others injured.

I don't exactly believe in coincidences, so its been brought to my attention that this large explosion has happened within the same week of the bombing in Boston. What are you thoughts?

It may of been a coincidence and it may not have been. While it is close to the time when the Boston marathon bomb went off, that doesn't mean that the two events are related.
Fertilizer plants contain a LOT of natural gas, which is highly explosive, even if the slightest thing went wrong the whole place would go up in flames immediately, as this plant did. So I guess it could be argued either way, but personally I think that if it was terrorists, then they would have targeted a more important facility.

Even if this happened so shortly after the Boston incident, I think it was an accident. Lots of chemicals and gases are stored there to spray plants, at least thats what I heard. I hope the Ammonium Nitrate gas is taken care of before it gets serious though.

No need to be sorry, everyone has those moments where you need to let it out. Getting back to the topic, I hope all those living in West are okay. I hope they find the cause soon, but at least now no one will be worried that it was another terrorist attack. A lot of explosions have happened lately, but at least we are all working together as a nation to help those in need.

you know this got me thinking is there a city or state plan that is prewritten like it states what the people will do in a issue similar to this. like where the students will go if some happens thing. like at school there is a fire drill. it tells you exactly where to go and do. the reason why I asking is because I never heard this like city plan before. if not maybe that's what we need to do. I think every community needs something like this. not just for house fires like when firefighters ask you to make a chart of your house and find a place to go when theres a fires. we should have that in every community. a huge map of safety places. like large buildings with can food and water already in them if something happens. and if nothing happens then they can give the food and water away to needy families or homeless people then stock up again. and they should have beds baths and showers. these buildings should be a few miles away for safety. does anyone know if they have this at all. if not they should.

I don't really think it has something with the incident of Boston, I just think it was coincidence...

They've already explained that within the plant something that was combustable was labeled as non-combustable and that's why when the fire happened people didn't immediately evacuate the area. They didn't know they had to. I don't think that if the plant themselves didn't know this was going to happen, then terrorists would.

Also... I would ask "Why a plant in Texas?"
...But then again, "Why a marathon in Boston?"
