Once again, I had only just saw the news when it happened, at the time there was nothing clear. I can't simply know everything about a event only just unfolding and since I clearly posted first everyone just chooses to ignore facts and just intimidate me. Congrats. You do your job well but at the cost of being at all reasonable or friendly at all. Now moving on, was it true there was more explosions apart from the first ones in the crowd at the finish line?

You could at least do a search for a web address to a news article to include to your thread to get people to comment more compare to the other thread. To answer your question, there were two bombs.The second went off 15 seconds after the first exploded. Third was denonated after authorities found it. That's all I know from watching the news on TV.

Word of advice, never watch this stuff on Fox News, you will just want to tear your hair out.

I swear the way the British news covers a story I don't ever see corruption in the reporting, all I hear is calm information with a sexy accent. Fox News, well they have a few 1000 fact checker things to correct but we all know that will never get done.

I heard that a few people lost limbs, and there were three dead, but that was when I last checked it yesterday. That true?

As of about hours ago, there are three confirmed dead and at least 144 injured, bringing the casualties to at least 147.

I lived in Massachusetts when I was younger. This really hurt me and I wasn't there. I never like how the news reacts to the events but I know that the poor reporting and panic is because no one ever expects a fun event to turn into a damn nightmare. Boston was and still is my home. So I hope this gets resolved. And also, If I even see one Westboro person at the funeral of the people who died, I will begin donating as much as I can to Anonymous. (Sorry, emotional posting can lead to upset ranting.)

I saw this morning one of the suspected bombers was dead. Because I'm getting very strained knowing this is still going on I am avoiding the news until it is about "suspects arrested".

I find the FBI suspicious due to their choosing of people as suspects. I don't believe they are guilty of the bombing so far, but they are guilty of robbing a 7-11, car jacking, evasion of police, murder of an officer, and mass assault against officers.

I find it suspicious these guys just happened to be Muslims and that they are using the fact that they robbed a 7-11 as scapegoats to the public eyes and that the living brother will be wrongfully convicted of the bombings. I hope he gets convicted for the crimes he did commit, though.

BTW, I forgot to point out that the guys are Chechen and trying to link the area they are from with Baghdad.

On a more personal and frank note, I'd like to point out that everyone that is Islamic and everyone from the middle east are not suicide bombers.

As a citizen of Massachusetts, I'll feel better when I can watch the news and not hear a thousand different idiot reporters saying "we aren't going to speculate but where do you think this guy is?" Or "we don't know if he's here or there."

didn't Texas have an explosion days after?......they at least 170 persons went to the hospital. its kinda sad. :(

that explosion was at a fertalizer plant. manure is highly explosive, like lighting a super deadly cow fart. it is more likely that it was an accadent. if the two explosions where related, it would be all over the media.
