This information is faulty. Real shades made no noise, have no form and move like lightning. If there is a spot of darkness anywhere, they could be there lurking. It doesn't matter if you know about them or not. If there's a shade,and you enter that darkness with it. You're gone. Sucked up. And nothing is left but your clothes and a paper thin husk that is the parts of you they don't eat. Nothing can get rid of them but light. So beware, and never enter a dark room, because you never know where they cou;d be lurking...
