Anyone else heard of the website closing down?

I actually go an email saying this, but I haven't been on the site in months. I find it hard to believe, so I'm not sure if it's a scam or something.

Huh. I just didn't care enough to check. xD The site seemed like a huge waste. But it is depressing to hear that it's closing.

I never really cared to look into that. Probably because I was too busy trying to not make my character look like a total fail. :/
