Tadatoshi Fujimaki / Creator of Kuroko no Basuke Threatened? (12)

1 Name: AKoL : 2012-10-18 00:48 ID:2uiEF1ze [Del]

Tadatoshi Fujimaki's university, high school, and publishing company were all sent threatening letters early this month. The High school received a letter with a strange powder (Tuesday), the university received a letter with a hydrogen sulfide-like liquid (Friday), and the publishing company received powdered barium (Saturday).

The letters threatened "If you do not stop this parody manga, the hydrogen sulfide will boil."

Thoughts?

Proof or it didn't occur.

Same, I'd like to be pointed to a news article or something before buying this. Those are some pretty serious accusations.

Aaaaaand we go from disbelief (because who want's that to be reality) to mildly disturbed. I actually saw the crunchyroll post a few hours after seeing this one so, umm... yeah.

@Sleepology: Hydrogen sulfide is usually a gas. As in, it's the nasty rotten egg stuff you smell during a gas leak. What they probably mean with 'Hydrogen sulfide-like liquid' is probably a liquid with similar molecules/properties (i.e. highly flammable and toxic).

Science aside, I don't suppose they have a suspect yet? I would guess the culprit is somewhere in the Chiyado ward? Letters can be sent all over, but the container there was simply deposited on school grounds. That means the culprit just walked onto the grounds and left it there, so it's far more likely that he's local to the area.

Seriously? I'm....okay I'm not shocked. Manga really is just like all other literature and media; it's just as likely to get people pissed off and doing stupid stuff like threatening people -w-;

These things happen all the time in the anime/manga world. And I have never heard of one of these kinds of empty threats ever come true.

>>11 maybe, but there is evidence that this deluded moron is pretty serious about bringing harm to anything related to Fujimaki-sensei. The latest news on this issue is that a suspicious person was caught on tape by security cameras the same day they found the threat letter and other stuff at the university. Also, it seems as though who ever this is doesn't have much against Kuroko no Basuke itself, just Fujimaki -sensei. That's one serious grudge there, though........

"The police has found there was a high possibility that the liquid sent to Sophia University on October 12th would produce hydrogen sulfide that exceeded the human lethal dose drastically.

It means the sender is really trying to hurt or kill the people who related to Kuroko's Basketball and Fujimaki." - Crunchyroll
