You guys excited about Pokemon Black/White 2? Yeah, I'm not. The first one was stupid enough. In fact, all of pokemon is evil - It promotes animal slavery and abuse.

That's why the PETA has released Pokemon Black and Blue!

To bring to light how unjust and inhumane the treatment of Pokemon is, and inform parents and children a like that it is corrupting children with a rose-tinted view of what is really happening.

Arguably even funnier than when the PETA decided to rag on a Mario game that was made over a decade ago, this takes the (poke)ball even further in order to tell people of the terrors of abusing animals.

Here's the game if you feel the need to enlighten yourself.

I always kind of laughed at the PETA, I think most people do, and this was no exception.

It accidentally led me to this little tidbit, though.

I figured it might be another random attacking website - So I started doing some web searches for articles pertaining to it... And, no, it's accurate. the PETA doesn't even deny it, and their employees are on record confirming that's what they've done.

Now I'm not sure whether to laugh at the PETA, or sincerely wish for an abrupt and tragic furry to go distribute justice for his brothers and sisters. (Do furries have words for brothers and sisters? Fursters?)

Anyway, have at it. Enjoy your pokemanz.

I've been laughing at them for so long.

Please go back to school to learn proper grammar, it's actually very difficult to understand your post.

>>6 Sigh. I'm just to leave this here. The obligatory Fuck You.

This is freaking retarded. Yes, this is ever-so-slightly funny, its freaking stupid. What were they thinking? "Oh hey guys let's make fun of THE WORLD'S FREAKING MOST (arguably) BELOVED GAME SERIES herp derp." Now, Pokemon isn't about slavery. If you watched/read the actual stories, you'd know that. Bringing to light the new generation, Team Plasma is a freaking cameo of PETA itself. On the outside, it looks like they are all for the treatment and care of animals, but on the inside, it's just like PETA. Just like it.

According to the actual story, Pokemon and trainer are generally friendly towards each other, and fight each other as a friendly battle. Both sides and Pokemon agree to it, and therefor isn't slavery, as that is defined as forced labor. It's not forced if it has permission and sincere cooperation from both parties.

Not to mention, I just don't like PETA. What they stand for, yes, but not them.

>>6 "Wow. It's just a children's game. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you can make it out to be slavery in your own parody. It's like you're disrespecting everyone who stood up for this cause before you. You should be ashamed if you don't agree with this, but this post will be deleted, and that will be proof enough."

That last part is... I don't even know. Alternate translations are acceptable.

I wish Google Translate had, "Stupid," as one of its language options.

Ahh, the idiotic (and in this case, somewhat hypocritical) things that morons will do for attention. I wonder how many of them actually believe the shit they're spouting. I doubt there are many.

11 Name: meteor : 2012-10-08 21:13 ID:XFcujNxm [Del]

What the hell!?

They probably didn't read stuff right. Didn't they know that the series stressed heavily on the friendship between the pokemons and the trainers? How many times did Ash have to save Pikachu?

Rewording my previous post.

The game was funny. Everything was funny. Someone come with me to fling fish at PETA for being such imbeciles (or at least the founder and spokespeople.)

14 Name: Zeckarias !LoWvdc0uhQ : 2012-10-08 21:55 ID:2Sf1nVgw [Del]

I think if this gets any major attention, it'll just be because it's a relatively entertaining spoof of a popular game, like Mario BP Oil spill.

Everyone already knows they're crazy and hypocritical, therein they don't care if a series is just about fun or even stresses happiness and harmony with nature and it's living beings.

PETA aren't hippies, they're just nutjobs.

By the way, Team Peta- easiest team to beat in all pokemon games.

>Attempts to steal pokemon to release them.
>Already released their own.
>Team members defenseless.
>A winar is you.

It sounds like PETA ran out of ways to discourage animal abuse.

Finally played the game, and I've gotta say... that was really stupid. And unnecessarily bloody.

Also, everything they said about Ash and Pikachu were complete opposites of what actually happened in the anime /o/ Pikachu is never in a pokeball, and Ash risked himself multiple times throughout the series to save Pikachu.

a wild PETA appears!

PETA uses butthurt!

What will NINTENDO do?

1.Use the fact that they're possibly one of the largest video game cretors and distributors to date.

2. File a lawsuit against PETA for using licened characters of Nintendo and Gamefreak without approval.

3. Shrug it off because it's bullshit and anyone who has basic knowledge of Pokemon (which is a lot of people) won't even buy into this.

4. Run

27 Name: Alexavier : 2012-10-10 18:10 ID:rtxAWt4z [Del]

PETA is just trying to find an excuse to try to become popular. I'm a HUGE pokemon fan, and when they try to step on pokemon by saying its slavery, that pisses me off. Nintendo is the largest game company in the world, pokemon being one of its most popular game series to date. PETA is most likelygoing to get sued for this.

28 Name: SanityJinx : 2012-10-11 12:16 ID:HM9hcExU [Del]

>>27 DOn't forget, They went after mario as well, That being with him stepping on turtles WHICH he's done since the NES-era.
PETA is simply running out of ideas on who to blame, And think about it IT's called POKE-Mon (Or Pocket Monsters) Not PokeAni(Catchy But no) So please, The next time Peta feels the need to strike at a game, Think of colombine (Don't but consider the fact that a game was blamed for it) and how much trouble it caused. I'd prefer to ignore an orginization rather than a single event that changed history.

>>28 But we were impressionable! I loved Mario since I was a kid, and obviously because of that, every time I see a turtle I take it to the nearest stairwell and jump up and down on it repeatedly, screaming the 1UP noise at the top of my lungs.
(For those of you who didn't get that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEHpOTF_0CY)

When pokemon came out, man, I lost my shit. Started catching squirrels in little spheres and making them attack pidgeons, standing in one place for extended periods of time and making people battle me when we made eye contact...ahh good times, good times.
Obviously Peta nows what they're talking about guise, maybee kids really are takingk these things literally.

Not only is PETA a bit late on the party, but PETA obviously hasn't done there research. Does no one remember that tid bit in the pokemon game where they people talk about "keeping your pokemon happy" and "a happy pokemon makes a stronger pokemon" or something like that?

Then there's to talk about the show. Has anyone noticed the fact that Pikachu didn't even have a pokeball? How about the fact that Team Rocket "In addition to this they also perform inhuman experiments on Pokémon to further enhance their power." Which is part of the reason why Ash and his group fight them?

On top of all that, there's the manga. I've never seen it myself, but I heard it's pretty brutal and graphic. Being one who's never read it, I can't say much for what it really is like.

I'm just saying. As a pokemon lover myself, I remember no point in the show or game that was about abusing your pokemon. If I remember correctly, the whole show went on for a majority of it to love your pokemon and treat them with kindness.

Here's the link where we got the Team Rocket information:

>>35 It's honestly the same thing as when they tried to get whales released from Seaworld on the grounds that they were violating the whale's thirteenth amendment. They wanted to push the idea that the Constitution should apply to all living beings and not just humans, even when laws exist for all different species. There are things I cannot do to an animal that I could easily get away with a human. But they realize they're going to fail, they just want the attention they can get from it.

37 Name: Tsukkuyomi : 2012-10-15 03:00 ID:YeGOmFJf [Del]

I can actually specifically remember points when you're respected for being kind to pokemon. Let's see: Professor Rowan asking you how you feel about pokemon at the beginning? Massages? The footprint professor's comments? The pokemon that ONLY evolve with friendship (Woobat the cuddly bat or Togepi the cute egg child anyone? Or Riolu the cute little fighter?) The move Return? For God's sake, PETA obviously has never played if they don't know about the very move that becomes more powerful the more friendly and connected you are with your pokemon XD

If you all think about it, the fact that PETA garnered so much negative attention for this blatantly offensive, unresearched piece of shit might mean that they're more cunning about their marketing tactics than people are saying.

I'm somewhat on the fence about their motives. I'd like to believe that they're just outright retarded, but the fact remains that they did get a lot of free publicity amongst the demographic that would give a shit about pokemon. An unsettling fact about advertising propaganda is that the most flagrant or noticeable voice is more likely to be heard than the myriad of alternate opinions, no matter how many there are.

If it gets spread around enough, wouldn't it inevitably pick up people who could care less about the story behind pokemon, but care a lot about animal rights? If I've learned one thing, it's that people hardly do their own research on the internet.

Yeah. I think PETA's objective here is a piece of crap. I can't see how they can twist the meaning of Pokemon this much. It's sickening.
