After dressing up in a "Two Face" costume he shoots himself at school in the hallway with a gun, even being witnessed by a young girl. This event set off a chain of rumors throughout Oklahoma about the bullying he was receiving and how it was the probable factor in this tragic incident.

It's sad these things like this continue to happen. No matter how much people say, "Stop bullying/fighting or treat others as you'd treat yourself", it seems like no one listens. I hope the family is doing alright.

things like that are hard, not only for the people who knew him but especially the family. then everyone who had been around them in the last week live everyday thinking if there was something they could have done differently. its sad that people do that and i wish people would try and find other alternatives.

I had a similar experience 7 years ago. My twin cousins killed themselves only 3 months apart. They were only 14. It was really tragic

Okay, while I do believe that suicide is selfish and wrong, I'm not going to sit here and call the kid names. I find it depressing that people THINK that's the only option- Especially at 13. I mean, that would have had to be some serious shit for a kid to get that desperate for a way out. On the other hand, where the hell did he get the gun!? Where's the source for this..?

Although I'm not quite as sympathetic towards suicides as I am with certain other causes of death, it's still horrible to call him names just because he killed himself. He's dead, isn't that punishment enough.
I've never been able to understand why people would kill themselves because they're sad. I've been sad before, but I've never gotten to the point where I would even think about killing myself. So it's sad to think that someone is so utterly depressed that they would want to die.
So while it's unfortunate that he would be in such a state in which he would kill himself, I do find it difficult to feel too bad for people who commit suicide. So many people die everyday and they can't avoid it no matter how badly they want to live. They had to die, they had no choice. While those who commit suicide were given the choice to live. I don't normally feel bad for people just because they made a poor decision. That was their decision and they have to deal with it. Suicide is normally a lot of work too. This kid even dressed up for. If you're going as far as to dress up for your own goddamn suicide, wouldn't question yourself. Do you actually want to die, or do you want more attention? Obviously it's the attention if you're making such a scene. Once you're dead, you won't be around to receive any attention. People should think harder before they kill themselves.

But I shouldn't digress too much. People don't think at all when they're killing themselves. All they think about is, 1) To not feel anything anymore or 2) To get attention, by any means possible. When a person is deprived of attention that they used to have, they'll do anything they can to get it back.

Or that's how I think a person who craves attention thinks, I don't claim to have any real knowledge other than assumptions.

You know, a female friend of mine had a best friend who ave dher LIFe who commited suicide. Said female friend shaved havce her hair off because she promised. Then some jackass had the fucking NERVE to call my friend a SLUT who didn;t CARE about her best friend that saved her fucking LIFE. Anyways, I look back on this and honestly, it's circumstantial. I mean, I will always think it's weak in some way. But at the same time, any other opinion of it would be based on certain instances and frankly I don't know enough about his to really say what the hell happened.
