Puppy love, an Xbox and good ol’ teen angst led to a 13-year-old’s wild multi-state joyride. Elizabeth Annette Robinson, a 13-year-old from Cypress, Texas, freaked out when her parents told her to stop talking to a 12-year-old boy in Kentucky she met via Xbox. Elizabeth took off in brother’s car Wednesday night and was stopped Thursday night outside of Nashville (a 700-mile journey), when a state trooper pulled her over after matching the car to an Amber Alert. Elizabeth was unharmed when she was found and turned over to her parents this morning.

About the gas tank problem, her brother could have had something like a 2008 Toyota prius that has an average mpg of 46. Considering it stayed at the average the whole time, she would need a 16 gallon tank. The problem with this is that the 2008 Toyota prius only holds(at most) 11 gallons(only gets you 506mi). It could be she's smart and tricked the people at a gas station saying she was paying for her mom or something. Or this is b.s.. I'm personally going to go with the second.

1. If she's from Texas, surely she knows her way around a car so she'd be quite capable of driving much farther than she did already 2. She most likely had her own money to pay for gas because nobody should possibly be that stupid to not account for gas on a long trip like that 3. Nobody probably thought she was 13 because even 13 year old's look at the very least 18 because A. they dress the part B. they know how to act the part C. 18 year old's seem immature still (not all just some) 4. with all the teen drama's, books, movies, etc. most kids have it in their heads that they can fall in love with the right person right off the bat, that that fond fuzzy feeling they get for a person MUST be love, and that by defying all people that disapprove of the relationship they can persevere and live happily ever after on nothing but a guitar and love.
