Before I saw that last panel, I thought they were talking about Manchester Airport in New Hampshire.

That would've been hilariously devastating.

Wow, this makes me somewhat ashamed for British security. :| Whenever I go to an airport, the security always seems all too tight.

And yes, while the thought of a young boy evading airport security does earn from me a lot of lolz, the seriousness of this incident is quite severe. The thing is that while it may have been only a kid this time, there is no certainty what level of danger could pass through unnoticed the next. I am personally glad that those involved in the event were suspended as a result, and hopefully the same thing doesn't happen again.

Could have been the possibility that the security have seen children without passports before, and probably don't think of him as a lone child but just with the rest of the family. Plus, people at the airport, work like, 24/7 so i cant's blame them for not being bery alert.

it's not hard at all!! just say "is this child with you" and they say yes or know its not hard even if it was more than thousands of people!! i mean all you do is stand there, it dosn't require any movemant at all (execpt for mouth)!! plus it's his/her job to ask (at least where i live) and it should be anywhere!! i rest my case!!
